This series came out in 1952 a couple weeks before I was born. I enjoy it so, it's like another world. I'm loving the 50's more and more.

Marc Daniels, the Director of this and many "I Married Joan" episodes directed the pilot for "I Love Lucy" and the first season(s) of "I love Lucy" I was privileged to work with Marc Daniels when he directed many episodes of the "Alice: tv series -- I was a writer on the "Alice" series, along with Lucy writers Bob Carroll and Madelyn Davis. Marc was such a wonderful man, very modest about his groundbreaking directing of Lucy. He also told me how he appreciated Joan Davis's talent and her dedication to the "business of comedy" on the "I Married Joan" series. Both Marc was, and I am a fan of Joan Davis.

Thanks for your response. Joan actually was an accomplished golfer in real life. Also, she had a pool table in her dining room!
