Ruth's story with her daughter reminds me of my princess. Taking care of a special needs child is no joke. Its physically and emotionally draining, not forgetting financially. You get to a point you become numb. All those feeding tubes, therapies, medication (as was our case). A break like Ruth is taking is very important otherwise you can run mad. I thank God for giving my husband and I the grace and strength to take care of her for the 6 years he blessed her with. Losing her in 2018 was so painful but with God the journey becomes bearable. Those souls are so beautiful.

Maneno ya kuoa watu wa Diaspora- be very careful mtu ameka diaspora anakuja kenya anatafuta bibi ama bwana- trend carefully kwa sababu- when you are in Kenya you think kwenda majuu is the ultimate - your life will be made etc. BUT before I break your heart - 1. Never ever rush to marry someone who has lived in the diaspora esp.USA before you investigate vitu kwa ground- its so easy to love bomb from majuu - many are the exported spouses who are here crying, being treated like trash, isolated and humiliated. 2. Discuss in length vile utakuja kufanya- kama unapanga kwenda shule....discuss its possibilities before you even fly out of kenya and don't back down before you get to go to school. Keep your FOCUS and save yourself heartbreak. 3. Under no circumstances - get pregnant ***if you are stuck with an abusive or narcissistic person- they will torture you most when you are down plus adding a child to an already crazy situation is a no no. Listen some mad men will insist that wanachelewa and get their newly arrived wives 3 kids in 2 years- unajua this is suicidal in the diaspora- childcare is crazy, you are bound and isolated- some have commited suicide due to torture. So no pregnancy until you know your way around and make other friends. 4. Watch out for isolation- people don't want you to meet other Kenyans, start talking bad about anyone you talk too.....restricts your movements and/or your finances. Before you leave Kenya, make sure you know another kenyan number- it doesn't matter if they are your villagemates from the other ridge whom your mother knows. Get their # and as soon as you land call & say hie- you never know when you may need them or their input. You don't have to post anything on social media but anyone telling you to cut your social media etc- watch out. Best wishes

I feel Sis (Ruth) needs to engage in fasting and prayer, all this is not normal. From her baby suddenly getting cardiac arrest at that tender age, to her marriage falling apart suddenly. All this calls for God's intervention for God to expose the enemy working against her life and to restore her life.

There things in life that happen and only God knows why.. most people will think having a child with special needs is a curse or having a broken marriage is a curse..no it's not I see it being a blessing..they say God cannot give you what you cannot handle.. it's all planned shes making a difference by helping other families in need when herself needs help..its amazing and I'm inspired by her story.
@teopistorsind98743 жыл бұрын
@@beatriceletting8540 Get real. Marriage is God ordained. How then can broken marriage not be a curse? The Bible says our war is not of flesh and blood but spiritual. So it is true what others are saying, she should engage in a spiritual warfare. Prayer and fasting.

Some men are very deceptive they hide they true colors until they put a ring your finger I had a husband like that he was very nice u till we got married then he became dictator told me what to wear ,who to speak to, how I was to speak but me being a university graduate and an independent person I wouldn't have it he started to treat my kids with anger he spoke down to me my home became a very disrespectful and toxic place to be ,he raised his hand to hit me and I told him not to let the devil fool him cause if he hit me I was going to kill him. I got tired of the arguing so I packed my stuff and moved out and went back home . Now I'm reunited with my soul mate my kids father and my first love who came back to our country and now I'm very happy . Seek God before you get married let him lead you.

Hey Ruby, so sorry you’ve gone through emotional, financial and psychological abuse in the hands of that awful man. You are strong with a lot of tenacity and with time you will I reckon you’ll find yourself, break boundaries/stigmas as you keep advocating for your little miss fighter. God picked YOU, just you because he knew you had it in you to look after your little precious girl. I believe through networking you can find a friend who understands CP to assist your little girl and willing to help you then you can go ahead and fulfil your career/study goals. Go Ruby, you’ve got this!!!

What really pained me is, even if you had differences, how could a father abandon his child when you were so sick that you couldn't even cook for the baby? Even suggesting that you take 100% custody of the baby? He should never have turned his back on his own child. May The Lord see you through. May you never lack anything in your life, in JESUS name. Continue to acknowledge God's presence in your life. He will carry you through.
