What are the limitations of design a brochure in illustrator as oppose to indesign?

Both are vector software and are suitable for printing. InDesign is more for printing and is smoother and can design more than 20 or 30 pages. But in Illustrator you cannot design more pages and the file becomes heavier. And another difference is that Illustrator is good for small jobs like brochures because you can create more beautiful designs.
