It would be super cool if the “CARS” tour would come to Canada for a race or two especially at the infamous 1/2 mile at Delaware Speedway with has 5-7 degree banking + there are many other short track ovals & great Roadcourse tracks as well 🏁

as someone who runs the limited class around here with a 604 and builds my own motor i’ve seen that after about 6700, you can make it to like 7000, they don’t pull anymore after that and if you have enough spring to not valve float then it starts snapping rocker arms without gurdles, hell of a showing for a 604 tho👍🏻

Valve springs gave out, you can rail it get some stronger valve springs in those crates with out em knowing these days !

How much gear did you have? 5:73? Trying to keep pulling, after the power band, cost speed, and horse power. I would think after 6500, its tongue was hanging out. Sorry for the bad night.

How much RPM were you at? We have had several problems with 604 crates. So bad, our local track has actually given us an unspoken pass to rebuild them as long as we pass dyno testing.

What rpm were you hitting? I keep the limiter on my 604 at around 6400, but the telltale says i was hitting 6600 last time out so i probably need to figure out what's happening. 😆
