I think if you keep the original Alesis kit and add the Simmons as extra tom (maybe as roto tom) & additional cymbals i'm sure that will be a really massive kit. note: additional hi hat on the right side sometimes convenient too 😃

You need to install the rotation stoppers from the alesis to stop the cymbal rotation issue. Also the reason you get the best response from hitting the logo is because that’s where I believe the piezo sensor is - the risk is you damage it by hitting it directly, so you need to adjust your trigger sensitivity in the module if it supports it to get the response you want. As a side note I have a hybrid Roland/Yamaha e-kit and use the Drumit 5 Mk 2 module because it’s incredibly flexible so you can mix and match almost anything.

Broo! The crashes and ride do have the rotation stoppers but the Hi-Hat don't I don't know why 🤔 maybe I'm missing a part there, and yeah I thought about damaging the cymbals too, that's why now they're back to the Alesis Kit haha Hybrid kits rock!

Just a heads up your eardrums by drumeo link does not work. Also, if you assign your ride Bell to the edge of the crash you’re using as the ride, you can hit the bell and it will play the edge.
