That must have been a shock for each of them when they opened up the box. But yes it's much easier if you send the shipping label or better yet have them fill out shipping labels with your account number on it and then just ship to each other. Poor little snakes. I'm glad they got where they were supposed to be going safely and happily.

My first tarantula was supposed to be 1cm. The breeder sent me a 17cm Australian female crassipes. She is bigger than a large dinner plate. I couldn't send her back because i couldn't back her. It took me two hours getting the courage to get her out 😂

There’s plenty of rescues. Besides ball pythons will most likely die in the wild in under a year depending on the state/ecosystem. People who think releasing these animals is okay shouldn’t have gotten one to begin with. More on, many ball python’s nowadays can cost thousands of dollars so I’m pretty sure people spending that much money won’t just let it free.

Pieds are ALWAYS so striking to me. Though Ive found they are very polarizing Morph. Back in 2008 (I think) when they COULD NOT be found (literally every specimen) for under $2,000, eeryone loved them. Once the price went down, opinions started to sway.

My neighbor overheard her neighbor who lives in the house behind hers, that her son was going to let his snake free because he doesn't care for it, and doesn't have the money to feed it. Apparently, the kid got the snake last year behind his parents' back and kept it hidden for months. His parents found out, and he was given time to find it a new home, and he did nothing. It is my understanding that the snake hasn't been fed in months. My neighbor told me and I went over to ask for it. I was too late. Apparently, it had 'escaped' a few days ago. I have gone around the neighborhood, letting them know that if they see the snake, they can call me. Idk if the snake is even in my area. I dont believe it escaped, and its unlikely that they released it in their backyard. I've already gotten permission to check a few back yards. A few parent were mad when they found out. It's been three weeks and no sightings. Wish me luck.

I am so worried about shipping animals even when properly packaged and labeled. I ordered Sonoran millipedes years ago. They were packaged similarly and the box said “live animals” “this way up” etc all over the box. When I got it the box was flattened and the poor guys were a paste. Looked like the box was ran over or they threw heavy boxes on top 😢

I was told that soaking a ball python wasn't good for it. I've been really worried my little baby is dehydrated and she isn't drinking out of her bowl. She'll go through the water with her head up for a split second, but won't soak. How do I tell if a warm soak would benefit her? Her humidity is 80-90 and doesn't go below that.

If by “hokes” you mean holes then you are mistaken. Watch the video again and you can clearly see holes before I add in the soft pillow stuffing. Both snakes made it safely to their destinations. I promise you I put in the upmost care when I ship.

Oh thank God that they arrived safe and happy I recently just got to myself not even a day ago and the baby had escaped her container and was out she was fine but she was also with a pre-adult but he was in a bag he was fine also but they were really really cold they probably should have had another heat pack cuz the one was not enough I don't think they were so cold like I'm so glad that I already had their tank set up for the heat pads I could immediately stick them on heat

It’s not air tight. Snakes are masters at energy conservation and also have a pretty low oxygen intake requirement. So they can breathe normally inside.
