I use a dry wide paint brush and electric leaf blow to clean off the cars i run on road. And the simple green foam you reviewed on your channel for the off road cars

In my 2.0, I installed a Castle Mamba Max Pro SCT with a 5700 motor and run it on 2s with the brushed gearing. It is a BLAST to drive. Runs cool, fast, drifts on demand, long run times. Burned up stock tires after a few runs. Installed a new set of VXL tires.

I think it needs a TQI radio. I haven't driven mine yet but I do have a new TQI radio. These cars get all over the place. My 2.0 Vette with brushless is dialed with a TQI. I'll see. You like all the cars parked across from you now. Your street used to be wide open.

After watching a few KZbin vids on vxl upgrades to the 4-tec 3.0 and they were all complaining about the terrible handling - most blamed it on the tyres not being glued on properly. I did write to Traxxas asking if they are going to release a brushless vxl version but the answer was kind of 'we don't know'. I reckon if enough folks write to them then they will release a brushless version that will have the handling to cope with the power. Get writing folks......

Seeing you control the 3.0 so smoothly has just made me realise that yes I'm either really bad or your really good. I do have a question a little of topic though. I've got a latrax rally that has been modded to the moon and I'm trying to break the 70mph barrier. The slightest of steering makes it flip like 10 times costing me an arm and a leg to fix. Is there anyway to reduce that? My ride hight is around 8mm front 11mm rear but any lower then small bumps sends it flying. Any help would be much appreciated thanks 👍

Should be no reason a 70T spur couldn't be used. As a maybe of fact, should be no reason (if building a speed-run car) the 55T spur couldn't be used. But, did general bashing, the 70T should work nicely. Right now, I'm running the stock gearing with the Velineon 3500kv...but, I'm about to upgrade even further - Castle Copperhead ESC, Tekin Pro4 HD 3500kv motor, and 70T spur. I'm currently undecided on the pinion undecided, but I'll be starting with the 18T. As for the "stability problem" with the higher gearing, I don't think the real 'problem' was with the gearing...I'm thinking the real 'problem' is that there's a lot of 'play' where the suspension arms connect to the chassis, as well as where the C-hubs & rear carriers connect to the suspension arms. If you think about how disastrous that would be on a race buggy (which is going slower), just imagine how disastrous that is on a vehicle like this that's going faster.

I also put 55 35 gearing with brushless and the stock transmitter receiver is not good enough . I now use my dx5 transmitter with the avc telemetry receiver and it is %100 easier to handle . I'm getting rear end wobble over 60 , I think the rear end needs more down force I'm thinking of mounting a bigger wing , and the stability kit from gpm racing I'm installing as soon as it arrives. My goal is to exceed 80 mph . Any suggestions on higher speed tires? Keep up the great videos.

Something I forgot to mention in my previous comment is that Richie (Driftomaniacs KZbin channel) and I, each, have 4Tec 3.0s running the Velineon 3S system...but, we've also give in 50-50 on a third 4Tec 3.0, which we'll be converting into a speed run car running...you guesses it...55T/35T gearing (unless we can get the 55T/34T gearing to fit).

Hey I have been watching your channel over a year now I used loved play rc when I were kid my 1st rc were duke of Hazzard car that back up turn front wheel Everytime and some how I did something to that make that car fly fast hallway at deaf school drom cause I added 4x 8v batteries so I went awe aww that really freaking cool but it didn't burn or fire electronic in charger but I crashed into the wall shattered Dodge Charger rt and I still has the body of the Charger's top of rebel flag and right door what left of it after shattered into wall I got hugh trouble when my supervisor heard crash like firework I got suspended for a week in dorm, but it were my best memories of my 1st rc.
