Ok, I loved the style of the video, it reminds me a bit of Gawx's videos and yet you brought your own sauce into it (something I've been trying to do now). Can I say some criticism? I feel uneasy when you are crossing your arms the whole interview, I get it, I've been there, you don't know where to put your hands when you are nervous. I'm just saying that this is something you could improve next time in a similar situation.... or maybe not, and be yourself. In any case, I loved the video!

Absolutely phenomenal work here, it was so great to see you go through that whole experience and allow us all to sort of share that excitement and anticipation with you. Also the sequence at 7:50 onward was unreal lol.

I am old enough to have seen Dazed and Confused in the theater! It was September 1993. I was 19. I knew of Richard from the film Slacker. I had read his Dazed script and thought it would make a great film. So I gathered all my friends into my 1984 Monte Carlo and drove the 45 mins to the only theater in NJ that was playing the film. Suffice it to say, we loved it! Good times.

Incredibly well put together man! You definitely have a place on KZbin and from someone who's loved your IG short films for a long time, it's great to see you put your storytelling skills into long-form too! Excited to see what you bring next but take the pressure off. We love seeing it because it's you, so it doesn't have to be perfect every time!

I've served Richard Linklater a couple of times. I used to work at a bakery in Austin where he shot scenes in for both Slacker and Waking Life and he still would go there as a customer. He's a decent fella and very approachable. You wouldn't know he's an academy award winner if you didn't know who he was. He's, what I like to call, an OG Austinite. Or what Austin used to be. He has that vibe. He's never left, apparently.

You really made this whole video like an experienced documentary short if 17 minutes. The whole video format and Idea of meeting Richard Linklater and telling people who don't know his legacy was really what I was looking for. It was great first KZbin video and I am sure to checkout anything new whatever you bring us. One question please do answer, What's your fav Linklater film from his filmography? Mine's Dazed and Confused well I did see Hit Man too and Glen Powell really killed it with his performance.

That might be the single most well filmed, edited and insanely well told story I ever saw on KZbin. I think every filmmaker can relate on how it feels to get nothing right, to feel uninspired, to feel like you are one of a billion. I am coming from a time where Sam Kolder dominated 'filmmakers social media'. When he suddenly stopped doing most of his 'cinematic' content I really felt like there was no other like him. He was the reason I started making videos. This video right here, is the first one, to really make me feel what I felt when I first watched 'My Year 2016' back in the day. Feeling inspired. Thank you, for crafting this piece.
