I do. There are many truths in what is called “myths” we should ask ourselves, why would people lie for centuries about such a thing. It’s not like it’s a boogeyman story told to children to prevent a behavior 🤷🏽‍♀️

Kudos, Bro., the story of Agbele might 95% if somebody with that name lived in that area. That the orale narrations transmitted confirmed It. In Yorubaland there many similar stories of people turning to things: Oya or Oya Oriri turned to River, Ooshun turned to River, Awele (in Ibadan, was a very irrasible woman) turned to Stone known as Esu Awele in Ibadan around Oje Market Area, etc. There were many in our Oral History. The only prove, these people lived among our people then. Bro, Ijebuland is in Ogun State, your frequent visits to Ondo State can be noted. Basiliki Alaga Wura (Queen of Sheba), had a husband before her visit to King Solomon. History had It he turned to water or so. He (It) is found at about 5/6 km from Basilik's gravespace.

i saw your comment and decided to show you my comment response to this video i don't believe the story but i do believe the scripture that is written that speak of giants, and i reason if there were giant men there should also be giant women, that is why you get a race of giants that is still alive to this day, because they relocated to more isolated and remote places and according to the book of Enoch i read the Almighty commanded that the bodies of these giants must not suffer judgment i feel that is meant to mean that the bodies should not decay, that is why the subject of petrified bodies of giants is a based on facts, and it is also true that there are giant tree stumps that now like mountains

the stone last is beautiful! does that region (historically) have a lot of precipitation? a lot of wind? that stone looks like weather has made it into what it is today. it took a long time to do this. I liked the story about the disrespectful tourist who went where she should not have and got roasted almost immediately after..... that was karma.....she has probably disrespected many around the world........ always respect the laws, traditions and wishes of the people when you visit another country. do your homework BEFORE you leave, so you can have an idea of what to expect and what NOT TO DO. if you are unsure ASK.... the mere I watch your vids, the more I want to visit your amazing country. I feel it calling me ...... thank you! respect, love & digital hugs! ♥️🙏♥️ Ann

Igbeti is the Headquarters of Olorunsogo Local Government Area in Upper Ogun of Oyo State. The town is popularly known as the Mable City. It's so big that from the centre of the town, it's many miles wide: to the north, south, east and west of the town. So if it's not a city, calling the town a VILLAGE is UNDERSTATEMENT.
