When she said "I found my freedom" while talking about becoming a mother, that was my indication that she doesn't understand all of the things that go into being a mother. Being a mother is wonderful and hard at the same time. Why is it hard? Because you have NO freedom over your life anymore. Every waking moment revolves around your child. Even the time you are away from your child trying to do something for you, is still based around your child. Whether someone is available to watch your child for you, are they feeling well, has an emergency occured, the amount of time you have, etc. A baby is not a dog, you can't just say "oh the baby bonded with him more so I left". A baby is not a marriage "oh I thought I was ready for marriage, realized I jumped into it to soon with the wrong person and I just liked the idea of being married, not the reality of being married"... she rushes into serious life decisions expecting life to be like a fairy tale but once reality hits, she runs. She loves the attention she is getting. She loves to have all eyes on her... what is going to happen when her child comes and everything shifts to the child, not her? I'm not saying she is going to be like her mother, however, her mother also had that "I love the attention I am getting" characteristic...
@aanimavilis14923 ай бұрын
I mean you can have freedom anyway. It's not a jail, it's (at least it should be) a choice. A lot of mothers do not want to think about child when they have their own time and it's okay and it's healthy. People really struggle with this morally when children come into play, because it’s easier to have an enemy and a victim than a perpetrator who’s also a victim. I don’t expect Gypsy to be able to provide that so soon, or potentially even ever after the life she’s had. It’s the whole discussion around mental illness and parenthood.

I have no idea what’s going on in her head as I do not know her personally and judging whether or not someone is capable or deserving of being a mother based on how they are portrayed/act on reality television feels very judgmental in my opinion. People wanted her to fail before she ever became pregnant. People have wanted her to fail her entire life. Her own mother did. I’m not going to assume the worst or the best of her. @xXhermitkermitXx I suggest looking into what she did to nick steady for months to convince him to kill her mother. She's extremely intelligent and calculating. How she's behaving since her release is not looking too good. She used Ryan to get paroles. Cheated and immediately gets pregnant after her dad asked her and the new guy to wait. She is living under her dad's roof and totally meant to get pregnant. If you watch her interrogation vid and nicks then take a peak at the crime scene photos you will likely feel different about her. Unless she manipulates you like she has many others She knew she could walk she knew that her mom was scamming for money and she knew she was an adult not a child when she conned nick into stabbing her mom. The way her mother was murdered was a crime of hate and passion nick only met her once he admitted everything in his interrogation and he said he stabbed her 4 times There's 13 more stabs than that a broken nose and a slit throat which I believe gup and Dan did before nick ever arrived to be the fall guy.

Having a baby is going to rip open all her primal wounds and bring out her worst side in the deepest, most dangerous way. It’s the last thing she needs right now, and the last thing any baby needs.

It’s like she’s playing house. She lived her entire life at a shut-in’s pace, got a couple days of freedom, then went straight to jail. Now she’s out and she wants a real, solid life without any adult experience of what that means, so she’s mistaking intensity for reality.

I have CPTSD from childhood. It has taken me YEARS of a huge long journey to get to some sense of balance and normality. And it STILL isn’t all rainbows. CPTSD is crippling and it terrifies me that Gypsy may not have even been hit by it yet. Sometimes it lies in wait. Ideally someone would slow her right down and tell her to leave all the weddings and babies and heal. But Gypsy is a grown woman who’s wants have been ignored for so long, there’s no way she was going to do that. She’s most likely blind to the extend of her CPTSD in her behaviour, I was and I would have fought so hard to regain my autonomy just so I could indirectly ruin my own life. I don’t think this could be stopped. I just kind of pray like everyone else, that the child stays off social media.

Well recent details coming out make the munchausen scario seem a lot less valid. Seems more like a mommy daughter grifting scenario. It still traumatizes me to this day and that may sound stupid but it truly does. My parents were abusive so seeing those posts and her pretending we were just such a happy family was so confusing to me as a kid. What gets me is supposedly her and Ryan wanted a baby, but when she thought she was pregnant with Ryan, she took the morning after pill because it was "too soon" and she "wasn't ready". Then a month after she leaves him and gets with Ken she gets pregnant instantly and is all of a sudden happy and ready??? I don't get it.
@KandyKoRnKorpse3 ай бұрын
That's because she was using Ryan for what he could do for her. He gave her tons of money while she was in prison and gave her an address so she could get out of prison. Then he lavished gifts on her once she got out and helped her kick off her career. Now that she is out of prison and has her own money, she doesn't need him anymore. You don't think she was actually attracted to that man, do you? He was unattractive as sin. She obviously wanted a baby, just not with him. This is probably the best-looking man she will ever pull, and she knows it. She isn't exactly a looker herself. Better have a kid with him while she has the chance. That is probably what she is using him for. She is literally famous for using people and then throwing them away once they have served their purpose. As I learn about her behavior on her show, social media, etc. the sympathy I had for her has significantly decreased. We can’t expect anyone to be normal after a traumatic childhood such as hers, but there comes a point where there should be accountability. Gypsy, with all the support and tools to go to therapy and live a humble life away from cameras, instead stars in a TV show, does constant live streams, gets married right away, only to leave that guy for another guy and get pregnant. It’s reckless, and if she were just a woman stuck in trauma searching for love in the wrong places I’d be more understanding. However, there are many times where she has displayed callous behavior towards her ex and other people who suffered parental abuse. I’d imagine that her of all people would have the heart to not bully people, or use their past to manipulate (ex. “You’re acting just like my mother”). I’m surprised she mentioned her crazy mood swings towards Ken- that stuck out like a sore thumb. I’ve never been pregnant, so take this with a grain of salt, but at 11 weeks it’s hard to believe she’d have CRAZY outbursts so early. Those aren’t the result of pregnancy; they’re a part of who she is. Hate to say, but I’m sure she’ll take advantage of her baby for money- thereby repeating the cycle. I don’t think she ISN’T aware of that, but rather she does not care. I mean, why would she? She orchestrated the end of her mother and is famous for it! Very disappointing… P.S Check out Becca Scoops “Gypsy Timeline.” Very insightful, and opened my eyes to this story in an unfortunate way.

While I'm worried about Gypsy and her future child, I have a glimmer of hope, because of my own mother. I remember when I was telling her what DID (dissociative identity disorder) is, and how it forms from severe childhood trauma, and it broke my heart when she asked me, "hm... why don't I have it?" I think she didn't develop DID because she had a relatively good mother and a ton of siblings to love, but she was horribly abused by her father ever since she was just a toddler. We have cut pictures of him out of old family photos because of what he did to my mom. So, she didn't grow up in as traumatic a way as Gypsy, but she was still incestuously tortured as a child. And she is the best mother I could ever ask for, I call her my guardian angel. In September I'm visiting her out of state for my birthday and she's paying for a tattoo I want to get, and I want that tattoo specifically to commemorate her. She lived through trauma and decided "I am not going to let my child go through the same thing." However, my mother did plan me and was ready for children. Gypsy is fighting an uphill battle, and I sincerely hope her and her child live happy lives. But being on social media fresh out of prison is a risky situation. She really doesn't know what she's getting into...

She is SO delusional if she thinks a baby fixes everything wrong in your life. I just had my first baby last November with my husband of 12yrs & it has been the most challenging 8 months of our entire relationship. That man is not legally tied to her and can bounce whenever he gets tired of the media circus because that pressure of being in the spotlight on top of caring for a newborn is going to chip away at them very quickly.

Fun fact! Nicholas Godejohn’s first time breaking the law was a year after he started talking to Gypsy who introduced him to bdsm (because at Godejohn’s trial Dan testified that Gypsy also introduced him to bdsm) and sent Nick explicit videos of herself, which is likely what he was viewing at that McDonald’s. Honestly if you actually look into the case files it’s shocking how much Gypsy manipulated Nick’s love for her.

@@mlev1111 Dan also stated that Gypsy and him sent explicit videos to each other, and phone evidence from the case revealed that Gypsy also sent Nick explicit videos. I understand where yoi’re coming from, but at the end of the day we need to stop normalizing bringing up people’s pasts actions that they’ve already shown remorse for. She’s already felt the guilt she needed to feel for doing that, at the end of the day it was either one or two ways the situation went: Gypsy died, or her mom died. If you don’t know the full story go watch the rest, but i’m just saying. Yes what she did is immoral regardless, but she did it for a reason and she served her time with remorse. It’s done now. We have a soft spot because she was groomed and abused and drugged as a CHILD. but this doesn’t take away from the other victims of this case. just to throw this in there.

As a child of two narcissistic and abusive parents, I went through trauma therapy and continue to receive therapy. I will say what my therapist told me before I had my one and only child, "your child WILL trigger you." I didn't understand how that could be at the time. Now? Oh my goodness was she right! I have had to face the trauma and demons of my childhood pretty frequently now as a parent. My child and my husband trigger me, our dynamic as a family triggers me, our parenting triggers me. It feels like so much is firing off in my body and I'm going to shut down. At times I feel helpless in my internal battle. Don't get me wrong, my life today is one where I finally have peace. My husband is a wonderful partner and a great father. My child is my world. So there isn't anything bad happening. When I say I get triggered, it's regarding aspects of everyday life that were so profoundly impacted by my parents' abusive behaviors. Things like disciplining my child are difficult to navigate because being aggressively beaten and yelled at are what I anxiously fear as it's what I experienced but I am the parent in this situation and my parents are not here. Yet, that feeling of dread and intense fear still comes over me when my child misbehaves. I talk it through with my husband and have calming techniques but I don't believe I would be able to handle my life now as I am if it wasn't for therapy.

I'm 60 and my only child is 25. I went through abuse as a child too and I failed miserably and gave my child the same kind of trauma. You're so smart to know that your family triggers you and you protect yourself against that. It was a real gift to give your child, that the cycle of abuse can be stopped. Continued best wishes.
