I think he had it right with “anyone can cut hair” only because I do feel that anyone who takes the initiative to learn can atleast learn the basics and do a decent cut. BUT I will say that not everyone can be a barber and in that argument I feel like your statement on him having a gift is a very true one!

I’m 58 years old, hair cuts nowadays are way more on an artist level than when I was going to the barber every two weeks. When my barber (Rick) told me I was starting to thin I had him cut me bald. They can actually make that look good nowadays if you have the $$$, these barbers are ARTIST now.
