I am Black/Puerto Rican and MOST Hispanics think I’m Dominican (while Africans think I’m East African/mainly Somalian). I used to go to Dominicans to get my hair done but they ruined my curls with that heat. I ended up cutting my hair off and starting over. I used to wear my hair long like H.E.R. I wear it short now that I’m older but my daughter now wears her hair long and she is natural also. Love Curls!!

@@ZombieFBody Yea I dont get why people use these "enhancements"... it is only temporarily, nothing long term, it looks weird and artificial when applied onto receding hair and low spots, especially when applied to the skin and it messes up everything it touches, your hands, your pillow and everything in between... it looks good on edited videos and pictures, sure, because you cant see the detail, in rl it looks much different and not for the better...not a fan!

It’s cool to get your hair braided every two weeks. It’s actually a misconception that you have to let your hair out like you said. Braids are a protective style, his issue was the blow drying. Getting his hair blow dried every 2 weeks for years is mind blowing.

Drop fade or low fade would of done him right. It would get rid of that unevenness around the ears and occipital bone. Would of been much cleaner since his hair is so low. Very clean and neat cut just not the best choice.

Bro that picture was a simple low taper with designs, which you could’ve done secondly wash the client hair they apply hot rag 2/3min using hot rag to brush hair in desired direction to regain the natural hair pattern. Your main job is to give the client the hairstyle that they want not what you want to do. I wouldn’t have let a client leave my chair without a scissor trim to clean up those loose hair 4.5/10.
