Great video Billy, I was waiting for it. Safety is definitely key. Lots can and does go wrong but I can see it's very rewarding and satisfying when a job goes mostly to plan. Have a good weekend mate!

Thanks for the video guys. Enjoyed watching this on a Saturday morning getting my body rested. Nearly Christmas! I’m curious to ask if I may, whats average salary for tree surgeons out that way? Perhaps employed and as a subby? I’m always considering other options. Cheers boys

Very good video. Keep on the grind, dont give up. You have just started something half the people that criticise you wouldnt dare do. Starting your own business is going to be very hard at the start but a few years down the line you will be so happy you did. Keep it up get through these rough times and thrive.

A good ancor for the rope on the ground, hitch of flatbed or another tree? Otherwise your advice is key, safety first.

Great video bill, how would i go about getting into tree work in the UK, is it thecsame as ireland or are there big differences?
@sawbandits Жыл бұрын
No big differences at all there’s the apprenticeship route or just ring round a few companies and start as a groundsman work your way up Thanks for the question

Thanks nice video. Not sure if you mentioned it and I missed it sorry if you did but If you are talking speed lining then it's worth mentioning again cos this can be an unexpected fuckup that can happen if the sling and the butt end of the piece you are speeding are the same length the butt end can jam into the line and stop the descent instantly with potentially catastrophic consequences . I would also take every opportunity to play with cutting when it is safe and doesn't matter where the piece cut goes rip cuts are not something you will be taught on a course or at college you have to teach yourself but well worth the time just start small . Rip cuts can save you time and effort but beware there's a reason they don't teach you this.
