Many years ago I bought a chainsaw from Aldi. It was quite impressive and not just the price. First thing is to swap the chain and bar though. They don't last long! I eventually gave it to a friend for log splitting and sorting and to my amazement it's still going. Its 30years old and it's not getting used everyday or professionally but still going.

I was told top handles could be sold to tree sergons. Seems good thought if you can get replacement parts it's definitely money well spent

These are generic 26cc TH Chinese saws. From what I can gather the newer saws have 2 bolts holding the bar, the older ones only have 1. I’ve had mine (different make) over a year and think it’s great. Lightweight and fairly well balanced, and running on alkylate fuel it has never failed to start first pull. Granted, it’s not a Stihl, but at a fifth of the cost, it’s spectacular value.
@sawbandits3 күн бұрын
I was surprised the power it has I just don’t see it holding up long as in bits breaking off ect. Thanks for watching
@Phookinell2 күн бұрын
@ I’ve stopped judging tools by how much they cost - a few ‘Snap-On’ warranty refusals saw to that. You never know, you might just be pleasantly surprised. Also these are a very popular design with a common 26cc motor and parts are pretty cheap and easy to source.
