I Miss The Old God Of War Games.

I've been working on this video since December of last year. I hope you all enjoy it, and that the comments don't get too heated over this topic. Either way, I'm glad this project is finally done. It's like a weight has finally been lifted off my shoulder.

I played all the god of war games before 2018and i really dont get why mfs say kratos finally moved on and calmed down, but he always tried to move on but couldnt because of the gods, he tried to move on from ares but the furries kiddnaped and tortured him into be obedience but failed, and the gods were all assholes to him, cursing his mother, capturing his brother, tricking him into killing his wife and daughter, destroying his hometown sparta witch made him almost give up on revenge until gaia emotionally manipulated him, making him a slave for them for 10 years and giving him fake promises of releaving him of his nightmares, etc... The only reason why kratos didnt go hard on norse gods is because they didnt do as much emotional damage to him, and brock doesnt count because he didnt know him well and didnt has a strong emotional connection with him like he had with the people of sparta for example, i bet my left nut if odin killed atreus, freya and mimir kratos would eventually go back to his old ways like what else is he gonna do "oh you killed my son and everyone i cared about but i cant have my revenge because i should be better" It seems like gow 2018 fanbase is just people who never played the old games, and people who never cared about the story, And dont get me started on the the "haha you can beat the game with square square triangle only"argument😂😂😂

Bro i have finnaly met my people. Do you know how hard is it to see article after article about how much better the new ones are from the old ones!!. Even the new Gow fanboys praise it like its a Masterpiece, which its completely untrue. Thank you for prefering the originals. Thank you for keeping alive what it was like, playing the true GOW. Thank you for your courage to post this video, knowing well that the new Gow fanboys will come at you like a rotten carcass. Thank you for giving me hope that one day, we will finally get the much anticipated sequel for the true God of war and not the bootleg version we have now. Alright look, I do understand that you want the greek games, or the style of the old games to come back and feel that energy within them. I'm in the same boat, but I'm gonna have to say that 80% of this video is fanboy whining and overly biased arguments. Like do you really believe SM made the Norse games to "appeal to game journalists and for casual scrubs", that does make you sound coherent nor look good by comparison. Also if you've yet to play Valhalla, which you should, but it counters your claim of Santa Monica "abandoning the Greek fans", that mode is a straight-up love letter to the old fans and modern ones, and I think it's a step in the right direction for this series. And before anyone asks I'm not saying that the Norse games are definitively better or you should like them by any means, but can we be in a world where fans are okay with the existence of these games? Because the classics are not going anywhere.

I really can’t get over the direction the series took man.. it hurts my heart even though I enjoyed 2018/Ragnarok.. ragnarok much less. There’s nothing that can beat what we had before :/

bruh you literally have fists to contribute to its variety with gameplay.... you do realise that not every game has loads of weapons in your arsenal.... look at ascension.... gow 2018 carried its fundamentals into its gameplay like how you can use fists and use all kinds of movements the games disposed off especially 2018 where there's a skill tree that makes the combat mechanically deep with its stances etc.

GOW 2018 uses this to give a narrative standpoint to KRATOS and you not understanding it, makes you incompetent for not understanding what Cory Barlog was going for... it still has the same exact fundamentals to an intro from the previous GOWs.... you dont say the exact shit you're saying to GOW 2018s intro to something like Ghost of Sparta because i guess it gets boring quickly although my Ghost of sparta comparison wasn't the best and i probably shouldve stuck with something like Dead Spaces opening, you get the picture... right...?
