The algorithm doesn't want to push regular channels anymore. You gotta click on comments like this one for example to find real music made by real people. I wouldn't be surprised if KZbin blocks this comment tho

@@ScienceBabbleMusic That is true, too. The mainstream (especially for music) is heavily enforced through the algorithm. Since this is a profit driven platform, what's already popular usually ends up forcing fringe content out of the public's eye. Although to some degree it is very random. Half of my fyp are videos with less than 20K views, like this one, based on what I like to watch. So I guess the solution is to push the trend restoring the old to the mainstream, somehow?

@@keithlemmons_ that was an example in comparison to quite a few videos that have popped up with millions. I've also gotten a number of videos that have had less than 30 views, but that's clearly based on the esoteric nature of my watch taste. Maybe my recommended just isn't catered towards more highly viewed material though, I don't know.

Even I miss the old youtube! when it was just a video sharing platform all about fun and creativity and even when people would just make videos for fun and not take it too seriously. And even the times when bad videos on youtube were just poorly made videos that even the creators of those videos would admit their own videos suck but I find it sad those days Don't exist no more since youtube became a video sharing platform all about views and money and people sure do take youtube way too seriously by trying way too hard on getting views. Which makes me wonder what happened to working so hard on getting those views? and I also do not like how you can't even have fun on youtube aka by making videos for fun without Having to deal with people trashing on your videos with them saying OH YOUR VIDEO SUCKS OR THIS VIDEO IS GARBAGE! even when you're not trying to make prefect videos at all. From someone like me that dealt with some people attacking my videos and one of my old stop motion animation video became a target by some user that decides to be homophobic At me by throwing homophobic insults at me from the times I used to have a my little pony collection that I don't have it anymore that I even remember the guy even insults me about them. By saying you play with toys or you play with dolls even when I never bother to touch those toys at all and I don't even play with toys which I collect them and toy collecting is a hobby But of course those two probably forgot about me and my videos that are lost forever that those two probably must of have deleted my old stop motion animation unboxing video. But damn I sure miss when youtube was so fun back in the 2000s when youtube was all about you and even the times when people would just make videos for fun and not take It so seriously but damn it is sad to see such good things can never stay forever...
