Thank you Sandra, I too am plagued with skin cancers I also have to drive an hour away. I have had 6 Squamish removed off my leg I have a skin graft right, now which is horrendous because of previous ones in the same spot there was no skin left too close it hence the skin graft. I was a red head never tanned in my life and was a golfer. This seems to take up so much of my time. I hope you will be able to use your hand soon. Bea

Wow, you understand. Sounds like you’ve got your hands full, or legs full. You no sooner heal from one then you have another. I have t had a skin graft yet. But I’m sure it’s coming. I’m sure we both have very pale skin.

But I need to tell you that your basal skin cancer issues prompted me to go get one tiny one on the nose dealt with at a very early stage. Thank you so much! I think the same day you were watching your grandson graduate we were watching our "grandson" graduate too. He came into our lives when he was fifteen. We needed a grandson and he needed more family! Left with extended family because his mother didn't want him any more. (I feel better she isn't related to us) Such a great young man. Dropped out for a few months during the pandemic to work but went back and finished up at 20. I'm wishing you all the best from Seattle!

@@SandraSallin He wants to go to community college to get more education because he's afraid something similar will happen to his younger siblings. You'd be surprised how little financial aid there is available to someone his age. But we'll keep looking. Rest up and do what brings you joy.

@SandraSallin , I lost my mother suddenly in 2021, so her recipes mean more to me now than ever. I have her recipe book with all of her cakes and cookies as well as other meals she made. My daughter and I enjoy making them in remembrance of her and it makes us feel close to her. You have started a wonderful tradition with your own grandchildren by sharing those recipes that will also be cherished for generations to come❤️

Hello again Sandy!! It’s so good to see you! I’m always amazed at your stamina. I take 2 hr naps sometimes on good days and I’m 74. It’s all good when you just submit to the needs of your body. Get up and go when it feels good and right, and rest/sleep when needed. I love those scrubby things for my hair washing too, it feels wonderful. and I always use several products on my hair, many of the ones the blow out professor recommends. I hope I don’t bore you, but here is my list of products: Pureology strength cure shampoo got the first wash, Redken acid bonding shampoo got the second wash, then the same acid bonding conditioner, then I rinse. When I’m out of the shower I use the same Redken acid bonding intensive leave-in conditioner, pureology spray leave-in that you use. You’re not going to believe this but there’s more…I just rough dry my hair just a bit and then put on Olaplex #6 with a drop of Moroccan oil. I finish drying with L’Ange blow dry brush. Thank God I only wash once a week because who has the time to do this job more often, not me!😅😅 I’m sure I don’t need all of these products but my hair is pretty good all things considered and I don’t know what to give up because I am still coloring my hair which requires as much or more care as allowing the gray to grow out. By the way, I bang my shins into the dishwasher door all the time too. I love that we have so much in common!!😂 I adore your humor and am always so happy to see your smiling face whenever you can show up. It’s all good! On a serious note, so sorry your left hand is out of commission for a while. I can’t remember if you’re a lefty or a righty. I’m a lefty. You make me laugh and you inspire me. I love that about you! Love it all. Do you prefer the Pureology shampoo to the Moroccan oil? I’m like you. I don’t know which to change? Have you tried Aveeda? I had my hair straightened this weekend. I was desperate. I loved Olaplex. I’ll be interested in seeing how my hair reacts to washing after I’ve gotten it straightened.
