This is just... Incredible. Why was this chapter scrapped? It adds so much story to the game, like why Cube is sad, how Blixer got out of the boss level and got trapped under those crystals, a better explanation for how the Tree was created. Edit: I guess maybe it was scrapped because they would've needed a few bosses to keep with the usual "three levels then a boss" pattern, or would've had to remove a few songs and reduce their ending to a button press. Edit 2: I just now thought to read the description, and now I'm wondering what those "quality standards" are.

i made an au like eight months ago, and a lot of stuff im working on got freaking yeeted by this. like i'd theorized that The Boss had attacked the Tree before, thus LLTNF, then got imprisoned in the mountains, more or less similarly to here (except yknow.. they had to bring him to the mountain.) I think it's close, but.. it didnt include whatever that Blixer artifact is. but this puts a whole new spin on things! i'm going to wind up making an AU of my AU where things are similar but definitely not the same. MASSIVE changes, because a focal point in the story was that The Boss was almost a pawn to the truly powerful people- mostly The Tree and it's offspring. basically it makes heroes to defeat threats to it, which can then go 'plant' themselves and become trees, though they are definitely lesser gods. (then one hero got upset with the tree, decided fuk u and made corruption, thus that.) but uh. another thing was that The Boss lived a pretty normal life until Milky Ways, LG and Chronos convinced him to go eat the tree. and uh, now im either going to have change his past completely, or just settle for an au of an au- actually, now that i think about it, it would only have *similar* setting and worldbuilding stuff in comparison, because i'd detailed so much that this just wont work. so it would br a standalone au. suuuper wack. pretty hot.

here's a theory made out of mostly headcanons explaining how the boss got stuck in the beacon: pink shapes had a war with the other shapes other shapes won other shapes sealed the remaining pink shapes in deep dark places it would make sense, giving how location of barracuda is in a volcano, something similar to the caverns and the thing is , if my theory is true there could be more of them in other sections of paradise

I think they removed the chapter because, yeah it brings lore to the characters, but it also kinda makes you the villain. You wandered into a cave, dropped crystals on top of this dude and then buried him with more crystals. I'm definitely for adding this back into the game but with slight edits.

All they had to do was just morph a little bit of the 'now' world to fit the unused chapter in. It might have been the original idea of how the cube was created. If not, it could be like, the old cube passed of old age and a new cube was born; the cube we play as for the rest of the game.
