This was me I moved when I was 29 as I physically couldn't afford to move beforehand if your parents are good then it's not hard to stay is it at times like now I wish I was back home all this adult stuff such as mortgages are hard adulting is not fun 😂

Uk guidelines say you can move into a new property if you've exchanged contracts or signed agreements before lockdown so you're good! So don't feel you have to spend ages explaining yourself! I'm so excited for you!! Congratulations on getting everything together and the new house

I've only recently moved out and also 23, the initial feeling when you fly the nest is so natural I was the same! Its like a mix of great achievement but surreal because you're no longer living with your parents, sort of bittersweet! I made an effort to see them at least once a week (before lockdown) to ease myself into it, but they must be so happy and excited for you as are we! Enjoy your lovely home !xx

I moved out of my parents house when I was 23 and I cried every night for about a month so don’t worry, it’s completely normal! It was exactly a year on May 10th since I moved and I still get emotional now thinking about not being at home anymore. Certain days and times of year (Christmas Eve) I’ve found really hard still but I love owning my own home at 24.. it’s just a lot to get used to! Your vlogs are always brilliant and your videos are definitely helping me get through this lockdown! Lots of love xx

I'm so glad you were able to move in the end! I'm only 20 years old and it's my first ever time buying a house. I was meant to get my keys at 12pm on 27th March. 15 mins before that at 11.45am, the BBC announced that house moves shouldn't really ahead and I was soooo sad since my house was meant to be ready at the end of Jan (It's a new build). I'm now in the house but Carpet Right and DFS are closed so both my Sofa and Carpet order has been postponed! I've been living with no carpet and no sofa with 2 rabbits, 3 dogs and a parrot lol

The government didn't say you couldn't move, they just said it was to be avoided. It would have been classed as essential if one right of living was finishing and a new one was starting. So where possible house moving should be avoided not against the rules or valid for fines

We ordered a mattress before moving, but there ended up being loads of delivery problems, so we slept on a double air bed with a mattress topper, on top of our king size bed frame for almost three weeks 😂 Never again!

The crying is totally relatable. I was 26 when I moved out of my parents house and I cried for three hours straight. Even when you're excited for it it's still hard. It takes a while to make a house feel like an actual home, but you'll be fine and it's gonne be great.
