His ecom brands are tiny, I looked them up and highly doubt they bring in that much money. Unsurprisingly, he is also doing mentorship courses. Sounds like a bit of a fake guru but I could be wrong. When people brag about how money money they made at 12,13,14, etc its usually a red flag as it can't be verified.

That's true. Most of "digital nomads" here are just grifters and cheapskates. They don't even pay taxes and don't contribute to the locals in any way. Most of them make less than $5K a month and live like they own the whole island 😂 and do you know how most of them make their money? As you said, coaching 😂. I live in bali with my balinese wife for decades. I know the reality.

As someone interested in entrepreneurship, this felt more like a lifestyle flex than valuable content. Running 3 different e-commerce businesses is impressive, but we barely got any insights into HOW. Also concerning that while benefiting from Bali's low cost of living, there's zero mention of employing or developing local Indonesian talent in your 19-person team. The digital nomad lifestyle is great, but shouldn't we aim to contribute more meaningfully to the communities hosting us? Would love to see CNBC Make It focus more on actionable business insights and sustainable, ethical entrepreneurship rather than just showcasing villas and pools. The real value is in the how, not the what.

Good for him. He's got his hands in different businesses and has a good path. Living in Bali definitely allows him to live a good life, while saving, which most can't do. The only bit of criticism I'd have, but irrelevant given that he's a business owner, is that GPA has nothing to do with getting a good job. Maybe your first job you'd be asked that, but I've never had to put that on a resume, or provide proof of education in subsequent jobs. Even in background checks, if you have the work experience, none of that matters. Adding here just in case he ever did decide to get a regular job, but he should continue on this path with his friends -- entrepreneurship is the way to go! (I'm still working a regular 9-to-5, but at this point I'm closer to retirement than starting over!)

@@adammorra3813 the backstory too, is this guy is lying and sells courses to become rich as a way for him to become "rich" yet he's still driving a scooter and paying the “$1942 discretionary “ in budget for his "girlfriend" (think we call them escorts or w...res )

He thing Bali is any cheaper then California? Not what he spends. I don't think he owns the businesses. I think he just invest in them, and owns a percentage of the companies.

not gonna lie, if you have 254K US DOLLARS Income, you'll be NOT living in BALI. Not hating but it doesnt add up.
@rakasatas7994Күн бұрын
Do you believe his income which is said to be 254,000 dollars a year?, but he uses a Honda Scopy motorbike worth 1600 dollars for everyday use?, and as a foreign citizen he will be subject to high taxes exceeding Indonesian citizens, Indonesia is not a good country for expatriates if you work here, for foreign citizens only allowed to own property with a value above 630,000 dollars with a maximum property land area of 2000 m2 and only allowed to have a certificate of use rights for 30 years not ownership rights. I love Indonesia, wonderful land 🇮🇩

Using honda scoopy is a choice, dude. Having a lot of money doesnt mean you leave your scoopy out. You can still use your scoppy eventho u're rich 😅 Especially in a place like Bali, it's better to use motorcycle than car. It's more convenience. And some parts in Bali is crowded, so for me, i also prefer motorcycle lol

Maybe he has been able to contribute to his Roth IRA in previous years but not for this year but income limit for Roth IRA is $146k for 2024. He needs to be more informative about his income/finances for me to believe this. BTW I’m not jealous lol am happy to see people succeed in life but I wanna know more.
