Lol this is the worst advice ever. Especially today. Dont lease or finance your cars. But you should buy a car that you can afford and are prepared to maintain and repair. My costs are very low even with repairs. No car note. Just pay insurance and maintain it and doesnt give me problems.

I've worked my entire adult life. The cost of living outpaced the spending power of my earnings steadily for 40 years. I am one medical emergency away from complete bankruptcy in the US. I'm thinking about an exit strategy but I'm still 8 years away from retirement.

As a restaurateur, the concept of Too Good To Go seems great, but the reality is different. Restaurants are required to offer at least 3 items daily, even if there’s no surplus, forcing us to adjust inventory and buy extra ingredients just to meet the platform’s demands. This doesn’t actually reduce waste and often leads to additional costs. On top of that, restaurants pay a fee for every order, meaning we barely profit, if at all. Customers benefit, and Too Good To Go earns from the system while maintaining a positive image, but it can hurt restaurant revenue, especially when customers wait for discounted items instead of ordering normally. Some places even create special items just for the platform, turning it into more of a marketing tool than a waste-reduction initiative. It’s up to you to decide if this approach aligns with the idea of reducing food waste.

I get the sentiment, but my £500 Alfa 147 cost pennies to run (insurance is less than £150 a year, great on petrol, never broken down) plus there are no direct bus links to my work & a taxi would be over £20 a day.

Love the entrepreneurial spirit. However, I would think twice about buying bags that are cheaply made but heavily advertised. Your revenue breakdown, though not very uncommon for a bag brand, says it all

The reality is: if you're rich and famous, your *xbagy* bags are seen as a sign of success. If you are just an ordinary worker working a 9-to-5 job, your real bag is likely to be considered the fruit of your efforts.

I love this topic. But I've also heard that the more unequal a society, the less probable that people are happy. So I think it is also social justice, social equality - which also fits the Nordic countries with their progressive tax system.

I have the feeling that he bought shares in one or several of these services and he is looking now to get their value go up. What he said makes sense only if you live in the city (a city with good public transport) in any other case you are loosing money not like these services are cheep and they certainly won't stay cheep especially if people have no choice but to use them. But If you buy an old car that is analog, it uses about the same amount of fuel as a new one and if you take care of it, your ownership cost even compared to these services goes way way down !

I would rather launch a video about how she made the 300K on dropshipping, it is impressive what she achieved after, but with 300K risking 20-30% of that savings is a normal business decision, still pretty impressive but I could relate more to the dropshipping part.

Very interesting history. They were on Shark Tank in Denmark in 2016. Valued at 3 million USD. Said no to all the offers (at around 1 million USD) and left without investments. Went to Silicon Valley to find an investor. Didn't find one. Ended up handing over 5% for nothing to one of the Sharks to get her to help twice weekly. Now a Unicorn.
