I hope you enjoyed this vlog of my solo adventures in Hawaii. This video was actually filmed back in February, but throughout most of this year I have been struggling with depression and had a really hard time following through with finishing this video. I finally decided to finish it and put it out into this world. This type of content is new for me. It feels vulnerable and sacred but it honestly feels like the most real and the most me I have ever been in a KZbin video thus far. I hope this video reaches the people it's meant to and touches the hearts of those that it reaches.

*Chloe you’re truly never alone.* Every one feels alone at certain points in their life. You just have to remember that you’re not alone in feeling lonely. If literally nothing else, you have those other people out there feeling just as lonely as you are right now. A year and a half ago I moved from a small town in Kansas to North Carolina, and I felt extremely lonely for the first six months after we moved. I am an extreme introvert, change is one of the hardest things for me, and I really suck at talking to people and making new friends. So when we moved (it didn’t help that I moved literally in the middle of 7th grade), I had a really difficult time making friends, and adjusting to my new community. I felt lonely all of the damn time. I felt like I had fallen into a dark pit. And I kept telling myself “you know that you’re struggling, so now that you’ve made that connection, you can just pull yourself out of this pit”. But it isn’t that easy. You can know that you’re struggling. You can be extremely knowledgeable about the reasons you’re struggling. You can know how to stop struggling; you can know what you need to change in your life to make it better. But none of those realizations necessarily makes it easier, or lessens the pain. You just have to remember that life is like a roller coaster (ik it’s an extremely cliche metaphor, just stick with me), it goes up and down. When you’re at a low, you just have to keep your eye on the highs that are coming next. 🩷
