I also live here. An Expat....my husband is Indonesian. Personally, I like South Jakarta. It has some more space to me. Not alot of high rises where we are, more residential. Our house we built is in a small village feel, and I love eating at the local food stalls, going to the local farmer markets. Enjoy! Cool video I have stopped in Jakarta twice on my way to Bali on the first visit and to Lombok on the second visit. Jakarta was worth visiting for a couple of days on each occasion. The skyscapers were nice especially at night but my favourite place in the city is Masjid Istiqlal in Merdeka Square area close to the cathedral

SCBD is a complex area owned and managed by private company.. inside SCBD there's this Stock Exchange building which protected as national priority 1 building that need to be sterilized from any form of filming or picture using professional camera, u'll need permissions and private securities are everywhere.. u are free to film outside SCBD area (Sudirman St., Senopati St, or Gatot Subroto St.) because SCBD are not public area
