It is truly respectable how you could carry out such a big change in your life with an amazing attitude. I also left the U.S. recently, and now live in Mexico! It has been a huge change and caused me to have cultural shock more than once. Oh, and I can relate to the "gringo" part haha. (Spanish however is easier for me, since I know enough to get along. I'm not saying this to brag, I'm implying that if I could do it, then who can't?)

I lived in lima for 6 months for volunteering. I just came home 2 weeks ago and I miss it so much!!!!! It's weird seeing a youtuber in lima but you are so awesome!! Be sure to check out San Miguel (thats where I lived) and the Loki hostel in mira flores it's a great hostel with a small bar and the staff is amazing!

i feel like a proud mother. My sister is 23 and our whole lives our family has always lived in Newcastle, Australia and we have never moved. Imi being 23 and the eldest sister out of the 3 of us siblings she is the most adventurous and I look up to that. She is 10 years older than me but we are just about twins when it comes to personality. So besides my father (who is not Imi's father) living in Canada for 5 years when he was around 25 no one in our family has ever moved out of the country or for that matter travelled anywhere but in NSW and QLD. So Imi decided to change that so when she was 19 she moved to Melbourne for around a month and she missed us so came back home. Then getting a little more crazy she travelled Europe by herself, no friends and no reason for 6 months when she was 20 and turned 21 while she was in France. when she came home she straight away said "Germany was my favourite" So within another 3 months she was on a plane to Berlin, Germany for life. Well she said a year but we all including her self knew for life. Within a year and a half she came back to visit for a couple months (She came back July and said she would leave in November) but knowing Imi she goes with her brain and her heart so whenever she says that no one believes her. So right this very second she is packing for Melbourne again because she loves it, she says for at least 6 months she will stay because within the time she found a house and started renting it out, she found her first proper love here in Newcastle. So she is putting it to the test moving and if she still has feeling she will be back. Now being her twin personality wise and problems wise that is 10 years younger this was a huge challenge for me because she was the only one that ever understood. Although it is tough I am happy she is doing the thing she loves, travelling.

Luke a good life hack to keep cats out of your room is to have a spray bottle with ONLY WATER and spray them when they cross the line. eventually they'll understand that that is not their territory. I have 13 cats and that way they got used to not go into my room, and it doesn't harm them at all. Love you 😘 keep going south and visit us in Argentina, I'll help you with the spanish
