Recent anthropology studies say that the Incas actually knew about the wheel (we found a lot of wheeled children toys). The reason the wheel was not present in their culture is that... it was not very helpful in the mountains. Therefore Wheels naturally took over the flatlands of Europe but its not a civilization marker like we taught.
@mypanexogamouslineage9655 жыл бұрын
Same thing with the Mayans, they only used it on children's toys, ex. miniature rolling animal figurines.
@Emma-lz1tb5 жыл бұрын
Sounds interesting! I just wonder what animals (if they were like GOTZ DEAOMA says of course, could also be different types of toys) were in front of those wheeled toys as most animals typically used for such wasn’t in the Americas on that time. Please if you could find a source, I would like to read about it :) I have always just thought it wasn’t so useful for people in the America’s because of no horses, cows, oxes or donkeys to drag a carriage and it is limited how much llama can drag.
@mypanexogamouslineage9655 жыл бұрын
@@Emma-lz1tb The ancient Mayans had toy Jaguars complete with eyes and spot patterns that had a flat surface bottom and small wooden wheels to the sides. They were rolling animal figures, very interesting merchandise. The Aztecs then adopted these toys and idea from the Mayans. They had the 1st rolling animal pet toys. But the Egyptians invented them 1st. The Mayans also did so out of Western Isolation (not knowing about Egypt).

It’s not true in 100% because Chileans stores landing with Peruvian investors too. And don’t forget Oeschle and PROMART Department Stores of the NTERBANK group department stores from Peru too, Oeschle operates since 1889. And before they arrived there were Sears and another’s international stores. Policy broke the free market of those years (Velasco’s period) and they went. Now it’s a interesting market.

Perú has an interesting business perspective. The Chileans have definitely invested in Peruvian infrastructure, especially ironic considering Perú's multiple wars against them...

@@tuliopita8150yeah, also the largest and most modern shopping centers are from peruvian companie too, like jockey Plaza, puruchuco or mall del sur. Yo, Peruvian here, I know that our rock is iconic, but was punk really born here? I always thought it was UK stuff.

sorry, I just googled it, and you're right, wow, I never would have believed it
@UltimateisReady3 жыл бұрын
@@shadowfluffylion8291 Yes. "Los Saicos" is the father of punk music. Then coincidentally a few years later it was also invented on UK. There is no evidence of the UK bands hearing "Los Saicos" so it is accepted to say punk was invented twice. First in Perú, then on UK. Search on KZbin about it. Many people agree punk was invented twice.

@ML SZ I m from the Peruvian Amazon, exactly from the Ucayali area! Peru is 65% Amazon jungle, the largest cities always have people a little more stressed, Peruvians are very diverse and our food is an example of this, the Peruvian Andes are beautiful and the oldest people of the American continent live there, the Quechua population now also live in the big cities, visit the huge Peruvian jungle! 😍💕 Right now the transformer saga is being filmed in a region close to mine! "San Martin" in the jungle of Peru, it should be mentioned that Peru is the 4th country in the world, with more tropical forests, only behind Brazil, Indonesia and the Congo.
