My grandpa had this setup, you see that portion at 15:00, I finished that myself when I was 12. That wok and the wood fire are the ultimate for stir fry.

I love Mark and Sonny and I watch them religiously but they are starting to find it more and more difficult to new places to shoot. You just took a step back in time and saw how food was cooked in the past. Not a lot of people get to experience and smell, taste how food is prepared in olden time. There is a difference in taste and quality when cooking with fire wood stove and a wok that have been seasoned for a long time. Enjoy it

Im ready for this journey with you Trev but i feel there's still alot of details missing, like do these folks work for you or do they all live there? Are they going to be in the videos now? If so it would be fun to get to know them a bit more, what about ting? Is tings parents also staying with you? Are you are you going to make more vlog style videos or stay with the more edited format? How often do you plan to post? I guess we'll find out by watching :) but it would be interesting to hear more of the plan

@@Bobwa2008 I hate that stuff. It causes a lot of problems, especially in some people, like me for instance. I wish they'd outlaw it. It's not traditional at all. It was invented in Japan a century ago and became omnipresent about 50 years ago. It's addictive too. That's why u get people so fiecely defending it. Some places have outlawed it already. Pakistan I believe, or parts of Pakistan. But I love this video and envy the Ranger. It is like going back in time.

I’ve been subbed for probably as long as you have had the channel and this is by far one of the best videos you have made. I was subbed to a traditional Mexican ranch KZbinr that filmed an old lady cooking in her outdoor barn/ kitchen and this video is just so amazing I’ve never seen one like this! This is an amazing property. I like that the floorplan includes a room with simply a desk and chair for tea. The middle of the home, when it rains I believe that area floods by design to catch water. It's connected to the well. We will have to see in a future video. I also like the garden, and the complete setting far from the noise of a subdivision. I prefer a home away from the busy city life too.

(I originally copy/pasted directly), but if I make it lowercase it says 'hen xiang da!" (很想打!) == "I really want to fight!" lol. It suggests for 'very aromatic!' == "Hěn xiāng!" (很香!) but gives me something entirely different if I don't add the ! at the end : "Fēicháng fāngxiāng" (非常芳香). Yikes, sometimes it's so hard to translate. Thanks!
