As a furry, I have gotten a lot of hate on Roblox, but if I’m being honest….I can barely call it “hate”. It’s just 12 year olds trying to be edgy, and it’s honestly just funny. I can’t take those kids seriously and they honestly don’t bother me at all. If anything, it’s fun when they come up to me; sometimes I troll them and I get some good reactions. HOWEVER, I know not everyone enjoys having people “interested” in your unique appearance….so yeah I can def see how it can be annoying, especially if people are teaming up against you in games.

I'm really old in the fandom, roblox is literally the most racist and aggressive platform towards furries ever, I usually play shooting games in roblox with furry avatars sometimes (when I want more challenge and break some edgy kid self esteem), I find really fun when they eventually target me since their ego inflates until they end up humiliated, at least I love to think I'm the few of furries that are really good and fight back and it's priceless when their ego is terribly hurted on, like, they literally suffer a breakdown when the furry that they're trying to dominate in combat end up owning them, the fact of losing against a furry is death for them lol

I once made a character for After The Flash Wintertide one summer. Inspired by the videogame Okami. Think of a medical drone that looked like a wolf designed to be fast in warzones to heal wounded. Bonus points are that they had functional back legs. They became my most controversial character. People criticized them, ignored them in character, unpleasantly went behind them, and so on. The character did take minor inspiration from furries. But it was so the medical drone could patch you up despite being a quadrupedal. I really liked the character despite people hating on them. It was a funny robo-dog that easily entered sleep mode but altruistically helped humanoids and machines no matter the faction.

I used to play as a dragon on Roblox because I liked the color purple, loved dragons, and I was 9 years old. Back then (2015-2018), roblox wasn’t as huge and everyone looked little anything. This was the era of looking as bizarre as possible. After that though, Roblox turned into a social media platform. Players began to wear brand clothing and soon 95% of players looked human and wore skirts and hoodies. I was basically an outcast with my friends who wore troll outfits. I was never called out for my outfit but I didn’t want to be mistaken as a furry/scalie and I chose to make my avatar resemble myself in 2022. My personal opinion is that I don’t hate furries because I know many of them are creative artists who just like to draw their own characters, but I don’t love them either because many of them are fetishes and sadly for the “good furries”, the two often overlap.
