재니 씨, In English we have passive and active forms of writing a sentence. So I can write: That’s my book (active) Or That book is mine (passive) That book belongs to me (passive). Does korean also allow various constructions of the same idea, just as they allow various levels of politeness?감사함니다 나의 친구🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🙇🏻🙇🏻🙇🏻🙇🏻

In Korean, the same idea can be expressed in various ways. Just as there are different levels of politeness, Korean allows for diverse sentence structures and expression methods. For example, the following sentences both convey the same meaning: Active voice: “그건 내 책이야.” Passive voice: “그 책은 내 소유야.” Because Korean allows multiple ways to express the same idea, you can choose the expression that best fits the situation.😄

나는 한국어를 배우는 사람이에요 Miss Jenny, I love your videos and am impressed by your english. But. In this one I need to point out that in English one can’t say “I happy”. You would say “I am happy” This is the difference between expressing an action and expressing a state of being. For instance you would write I bake but i am a baker I sing but I am a singer I love you but I am in love with you Is 나는 the equivalent of English “I”, or “I am”, or both? Does Korean not distinguish between I vs I am? In any event I love you. (I think we all love you here.😉🩵❤️🙇🏼😘) Tou are the best, miss Jenny
@CrazyEasyKoreanАй бұрын
😊That’s a great question. In Hangeul, there’s no distinction between "I am" and "I" as in English. For example: "I am Jenny, I am a teacher." 나는 제니입니다. 나는 선생님입니다. "I like English." 나는 영어를 좋아해요. Thanks to Tony, who always gives detailed feedback, I learn a lot every day.👍🏻Thank you so much. Tony is the first reader of the Hangeul textbook I created. Could you also leave a review for my book on Amazon? With your feedback, my "Bungeoppang" book won’t feel lonely.😆🌷

@@CrazyEasyKorean Ms. Jenny, the very last page of your wonderful book on Hangeul (and it truly is wonderful, (glowing Amazon review to follow later today) shows that it was made in Orlando, Florida. I grew up 30 minutes outside Orlando, went to college in Orlando; after I got my drivers license and a car, I spent almost every weekend in Orlando (it doesn’t hurt that Disney World, EPCOT, and Sea World are all in Orlando, along with the best local malls and restaurants. What a small world it is! I very likely drove past where your book was made more times than you can count on two hands. Had I known , I would have stopped in and introduced myself in person to your book😉

@@tony-ud6xg Thoughtful Tony, it’s amazing that you were so close to where my book was created! The world really is small. I love the feeling of being connected to the world-creating something, communicating with others, and being able to help people through that process makes me truly happy. Your comments are such a great encouragement to me.🩵Adding Hangeul Day to your calendar is just awesome! Hangeul Day is coming up soon. I should make something to commemorate it. Maybe I’ll create a video related to King Sejong-that could be a good idea.😆👍🏻
