I NEARLY DIED THE FIRST DAY in No Man's Sky Worlds

Got an advanced radar for my roamer last night. Spent about 4 hours just tooling around. Finding drop pods, research stations, etc. Weirdly relaxing and fun. (I also have a high sentinel activity planet and a bountiful planet in my starting solar system. Yay!)

Oh man! It’s amazing right! I’ve played mostly on my ps5 and just looking forward to all of those “amenities” as I progress through my PC save. I literally have no progress here so it’s fun playing from the start on Survival!

You can jetpack straight up... just take that thumb off your stick until you get clear of the walls. That was painful to watch. :)

Believe me, I thought I wasn't going to make it out and I was like...dang...I start a new series and THIS IS MY LUCK! I've always known it to be you have to be butted up against a wall to jetpack straight up. This was more of a bubble hole which make it really hard to get out of. lol note to self, don't take risky walks without a terrain manipulator.

My first time playing in survival mode I died twice trying to get to the hermetic seal. My starter planet had a some very rough terrain and I got stuck in a storm with only 1 sodium plant nearby and no caves.

I wonder how many ideas were shared between No Man's Sky and Subnautica? The game mechanics are oddly similar.

That’s a great question! I think that eventually they will as they develop Light No Fire they will enable more and more functions into NMS.
