When you got selfish people are caught up in their own selfish sex escapades they don't care about how it effects people. I know a person that went through that. They had to start sending cups and straws to the dna lab in Ohio to bring out the truth. The lab does relationship test from saliva on items.

My grandmother watched me and tended to me so much when I was a little one, I thought she was my mom. I got in trouble one day and my mom put a whooping on my back side. My mom was so young when she had me. I told my grandma in tears, "maaa that girl whooped me!" She said, "that's your mama baby." I was still pissed b/c she didn't know me like that to be touching me lol. Naw, she was still in high school. I barely saw her. I started paying more attention to her though after that whipping. Getting up to see where this young girl was going every morning. Bless her heart she was still in school and went to college as well. I love her to the moon. ❤️

As a mother of a child raised by my parents, I understand this woman’s situation.. My parents wanted me to continue my college education so they took my son..They raised him to be an exceptional young man and he saw them as his parents..He always knew that I was his biological mother and because I didn’t raise him he is my only child..I have struggled to have a relationship with him after the death of my parents because he sees me as only his sister..I can’t undo the past but I will always be waiting on him because it is his choice..I thank my parents for being wonderful parents to him and myself..THIS SITUATION IS NOT UNCOMMON IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY..

My kids father found out when he lived with his grandmother and she got into an argument with the guy she was dating and he told the both of us that #### was not his uncle but his brother. Fast forward 10 years I was married to another man but still lived in the neighborhood he came crying and ask me because his new found brother said I knew. I denied I knew or heard it. that was family and not mt business. It was confirmed by his mom she even called me to explain. I told her I was never gone mention it to anyone. It was out

This is confirmation from the Lord I was just talking to a friend about this. I am the first grandchild and my grandparents raised me. I knew my mom and I was taught against her by all the stories I heard but truthfully she was too young to be strolling me around so I was where I needed to be. She came back to get me but I was programmed to stay with my grandparents. It was a battle me and my mom didn’t get along because I didn’t look at here like my momma I looked to my grandmother. But today we have a different story we talk everyday and we’re so much closer thanks to God for fixing our relationship!!!!!

I don't think any child should be lied to no matter the circumstances especially when it concerns that child's paternity. Every child deserves to know who their parents are good or bad. For the ones who have done this, was it worth the toll on the family??? The heartbreak, the distrust, the confusion, the pain. Sometimes the good old truth will set you free indeed.

I agree with you. I am an adoptive mom and I have told my babies(since birth) that their Mom was so generous and selflessto gift them to us (they are very young). I am thankful that she had them and I asked for pictures of her for them when they get older but didn’t get any yet. You can’t hide where someone comes from, their culture , and heritage. It’s selfish. They deserve to know. I think people who hide it are thinking about their feelings but who cares about your feelings! Why would you want someone to feel like a piece of them was missing or to have questions?? They deserve the best despite what struggles that parent might have had. In my case she just wanted her babies together and we have done our best to keep all three of them together. I hope that they have the chance to meet her one day and thank her for giving them life.

@@alimantado373 Not all women keep their children from their fathers. Some fathers do want to be in their children's life and some. Fathers don't carry their blessings under their heart for 9 months, so therefore they don't have that love like mothers do. But I, was a mother who wanted the father to be in my children's live. He chose not to but my children knew that they can depend on me. So really, no father needed. We didn't have a lot but we were happy.

I was raised by my maternal grandMOM since birth, I didn't learn who my mother was until I was five years old when my mother left her then husband and dumped her two young sons at (her mothers) my MOMS house and moved from NYS to San Diego, California for six months. At five years old I had no clue what "She's your mother" actually meant, my only concern was being able to play with the two younger boys (my half-brothers). At 55 years old, I have minimal contact with my mother and I was with MY MOM when she passed away unexpectedly waiting on blood tests while I was filing her nails. My relationship with my mother has been strained my entire life even though I tried A LOT but the turning point was when my mother told me that it was MY FAULT I WAS BORN. I was conceived on prom night in 1967 when my mothers was 16 and I was born two months after my mother turned 17, six months later she walked out to be with her first husband because she had gotten pregnant again. The trauma and confusion that is inflicted on the child lasts a lifetime, LIES last a lifetime.

When I was about 16 (in the 90s,) I was very shocked to find out that a girl my age was being raised as her daughter's big sister. I thought that was something they did way before our time. Although the teen girl was promiscuous, I really felt bad that that was the only way her parents thought to help her. She was still in the household, sneaking out with boys at night. They did not do any justice for her OR her baby, who saw everything. I wonder if she ever found out that her 'sister' was really her mom. She would be in her late 20s-early 30s now.

But because of her mother losing her babies and her not being able to care for another child after her grief I do believe her mother would have helped her. It's just heartbreaking how heartbreaking😢

In regard to the sister who turned out to be the mother, moving forward requires forgiveness. Not keeping account of wrong doing. So I pray that her daughter has the right support system as she moves forward from this moment. People who will promote love and forgiveness; and not people who keep finding something to be wrong and upset about.

My heart went out to Bill. In that moment of truth, he lost his family. Tragic. As for that mother, how toxic she is. See what sleeping around does...it destroys lives sooner or later.

Exactly 💯%.. She gave her kids up! I wouldn't look for her with my precious time. These women keep have unprotected sex bringing in unwanted children in the world and expect other people to raise them, then later when the kids grows up they automatically acknowledging that the kids belong to them. I'm tired of seeing these deadbeat egg donors with their crocodile 🐊 tears on stage with every excuses in the world why they didn't raise their biological children themselves.

Depends on what your parent has told you about the other partner male/female. Im waiting for my daughter to contact me , if ever, when it took me 25 years to track down my ex partner after dissapearing to New Zealand from the United Kingdom London with my child ( my only child). I even have 2 grand children who dont know me Every situation is not the mans fault. And under law, men dont have a chance. All I could do is leave the ex partner all my familys contact details in two countries, in case of medical emergencies. I tried and was shut down asking the mothert to take a DNA test. I was told that I was not needed. Just a sperm donor. Many women are like this, they are not the fairer sex at all! I wasted so many years of my life on women in relationships.

This parents out there who are making children need to start been and making them responsible for their children. It doesn't only take a one parent. Then they wouldn't have to be dependent on the system or on one working parent? They need to open their eyes and realize how their children are hurting? They need to start off with Honesty! And taking full responsibility for their Beautiful families.

you are correct. here in SC, my x-bro-in-law had DNA, the testimony of his x-wyf, her kids real dad and still had to pay for 18yrs. the judge told him, the kid was conceived during you marriage and the law says you are the father, DNA be damned. we need mandatory DNA at birth.

I am just crying so hard for these folks😪It does matter. My sister and I have different dads and we were raised by family members because my mom was young. I never knew my dad or seen pictures. My sister knew her dad a little. I asked my aunt about my dad because my mom won't telll me anything? She said, ask your mom. What's the deal? I am an adult. I have a wonderful life and an amazing son. Why won't she tell me? I don't get it. When they don't tell you...they need to realize they make it more about them and less about you.

Sides for genetics illnesses that could be passed down, and to know not to engage with people to prevent incest. I see no point in finding family who wants nothing to do with me. The same thing happened in my family with my cousin. My sister and I told him when we were children. Why my mother told us, I don't know...just being messy probably hoping we'd eventually tell him and we did. The day it happened, my aunt (grandmother's sister) his grandmother pretending to be his mother told him it wasn't true and told him to tell us to come upstairs but we didn't. My mother was up there too and she didn't tell us to come up. She was probably sitting there looking innocent while smiling on the inside. Anyway, that was over 50 years ago and he knows but I never found out how it unraveled. His sister (mom) was about 14 when she had him so I guess his grand thought that was the right thing to do which makes no sense to me.
