I don’t think that sua as the leader would work but not because of the chaos itself but bc sua is really strict while working 😂 probably the most tradicional/conservative member too. All the times she had to scold the youngest members on camera live in my head rent free

​@@Mm29051 Yeah, I think SuA _could_ have worked well as leader, but I think the dynamic would have been very different, and she may not have become the force of nature we all know and love. She's said she's like this when she's with them; at home she's much quieter. So I think also having JiU take the role helped free SuA up to be the energiser...

@@Brickerbrack for me sua is a great co-leader, she is the same age as jiu so both had take care of the members since the beginning. Some people tend to forget that bc she lets her chaotic personality out when she is on camera 😂

i can relate to Jiu. she has the right answer, no one can define what being a good leader is. only those who are led can determine whether the leader is good or bad. she has shown and done what good leaders do, so the group really just trust her completely. she is a good talker (her mc-ing was good). she is motherly from the get-go (her reaction with her family is so evident). i can say many things about her. but fake is not one except being a fake maknae. fake maknae forever!!

Leaders of the world should humbly study Jiu until they get it right. Besides the adorableness, sweetness, empathiy, selflessness, creative problem solving, listening skills, emotional intelligence... there's this backbone and determination to fight through based on knowing what she and her sisters are capable of. How is it possible I missed this video? 🥴 Of course we all need a JiU in our lives. I'll keep it brief this time around, I've done enough swooning in other comments. The one thing I do want to add is that while JiU may sometimes be a calming presence in an otherwise chaotic ensemble, she is the wildest beast possible on stage. There she seems to unleash the animal inside her and thrashes and bounces and jumps for the entire duration of the show. Even Sua, who is otherwise loud and energetic, is on stage meek and subdued compared to JiU. That woman has the energy of a super nova.

Her other point about being a leader, though, was kinda playing it down; the way she sees it, she doesn't _need_ to tell the girls what to do because they already _know;_ despite the chaos, they're still consummate professionals. She just helps nudge them in the right direction, and provide some focus. But I don't think there's another member of the group who could do what she does... 🥰

Right, she leads by actively doing things and by being a good example, instead of trying to lead by merely telling people what to do. She's right there on the front limes with them and leads the charge. Not afraid to get her hands dirty. Hard worker. She's really perfect for that role. :)
