I’ve been wondering about the Nordic Spa, I am so glad family, in-laws and you previewed the spa. What a beautiful looking space, and that looked so relaxing 😎, my sister, my girlfriends, work sisters and I are going to check out the spa soon. I really appreciated the review, so Thank you for sharing. You are a blessing and being an Alaskan mom, I can appreciate some of the things that come up in the environment we live in. Like in your video of going to the cabin and making sandwiches on the dock while you’re spouse works on the boat, oh I can count the many times we’ve lunch on the dock somewhere in Alaska. Or chasing children all day and you just need a nap because you have been wearing so many different hats for the family all you what is sleep oh yeah been there done that. However as I am about to hit 60, I laugh and smile often because I wouldn’t change a thing, I have loved every minute of my life here. And I am born and raised here, born in Anchorage and raised in Palmer, my husband, our son who is 40 this year and I homesteaded out of Wasilla. Anyway I wouldn’t change anything. On Thursday my Girlfriend and I just got 14 jars of Golden Raspberries done. So yummy. Okay I tell folks about your channel, and yes this Alaskan Lady is a fan..

I lived at Lake Taho, CA for a year. If you've heard about it, the water in the lake is really cold. The way I would go swimming was to jump in all at once and come up screaming (not really). Once I got used to the water temp I would swim around for a while. I found that when I got out it was really refreshing and I felt really good. I was a lot younger then. Don't know if I would want to try it again at my current age.

We spent a week at Lake Tahoe for my parents 50th wedding anniversary! LOVE IT!! It is hard to get in the cold but I agree, so refreshing! Thank for watching!!

What a perfect get away. The weather was perfect. A perfect Saturday morning venture. Lauren, you captured the experience perfectly. It was nice for you to experience a break at your speed and then A TOTAL MELTING LIKE BUTTER decompression, ending in joyfully embracing, on that 1/2 mile road back home, the welcoming from your 2 youngest, who rested with you back home. Hopefully you will take Mark for a getaway there next time. The Nordic Spa was a restorative experience. What a great addition to a ski town. Back in the day, these places were Sanitoriums. Where people went to recover from illness. Long are those days gone. But as you see it still exists. A wonder what water can do to heal the body. I think you experienced every form, from soaking, steaming, drinking, to showering. Wonderful, and every detail impeccable and part of the experience. How was the watermelon, cucumber water? Thank you so much for taking me along. Loved it so much. You are the greatest.

It was so relaxing. I was going a million miles an hour right up until I got in the car to leave. I really don't know if I have ever been so relaxed after the day of going from pool to pool and in the suana. My sister added a massage that she said was so good. The food portions were so large and looked delicious. Probably the best $75 investment made for yourself. Recharge and ready to live Mom mode again. Take care

A good friend of mine, her and her husband and 3 kids sold their homestead here in MO. Bought a nice camper and headed to Alaska. They are now residents of Kenai... They are currently living in RV parks until they can find a house. I can NOT wait until my husband and me and our children can head up that way to start our chapter in Alaska. ♥️ Do you have any good ideas for things they need to do in Kenai, right now they are loving the fishing there.

should have done cold first. hot cold hot cold very good for circulation . my uncle had parkinsons n 2x aday i took him to hot tub then cold pool we did 15 mins ea for bout 2hrs each time we went .id have him hold edge of pool n go around it then go sit in hot. fun i did that from time i was nine til bout13 yrs of age.
