I'm someone that has never enjoyed watching people stream games, but I am 36 episodes into this series and looking forward to each new video as they come. I love this game (and the F game). Seeing you discover new elements of it helps to recapture that feeling from 2000 hours ago when I started playing, and hearing you gripe about things that have current or future solutions makes me appreciate the game design even more. There are at least a dozen things I'm desperately hoping you find your way to, and I look forward to seeing you find...well, at least some of them! !tama

"I'm sure every person watching this who has any understanding of the game has something they're so frustrated with me about, and they're just like 'Ryan, figure it out'. I really hope I will, and if I will I really hope that it's a really special moment when I finally figure it out." It's good to hear you acknowledge that lol... viewers need to be patient with Ryan, and have faith that he'll figure things out eventually. There can be a catch to this though; say you never learned about zoop, and you spent way more time placing foundations than you otherwise would have. I feel like viewers really wouldn't want that to happen, since placing foundations isn't super interesting. I'd guess this kind of thing is what some viewers are still concerned about for things you don't know yet. And this probably would happen regardless of how important the thing is lol Ultimately, that feels like the spirit of the game: you figure things out as you go. And I hope you work to keep figuring things out so spoiler chat's frustrations can eventually come to an end :)

The Quantum-split Alien'phants was extremely hilarious to see happen near the end of the video.

I love similarity in though process I had when watching this episode: Ryan wondering wtf he was thinking X amount of time ago and getting over those problems. Me wondering wtf did I miss with “bad behavior” in spoiler chat

43:05 - No spoilers here, */Soapbox/* But there are things (such as zoop) that make it easier to do things that you can do in a more time consuming way. Its like watching someone trying to hammer a nail in with a rock when there is a hammer available. They still have to do the work, but the hammer is just a tool to help with the job. For some people, it may be a genuine desire to make your life easier, so that you can get on with playing the game and building your spaghetti factory. I understand wanting to figure out things on your own, and it IS a slippery slope if people start giving advice. That being said, when you are playing a game it is supposed to be fun for you. So it is ultimately your decision on what makes it fun for you. Can't really give examples without spoilers. So, I guess that's all I have to say on the matter. */End Soapbox/*

Well Ryan, I remember you mentioned a couple episodes ago whether you felt more 'productive' with the camera off. And it does seem to be the case eh? I don't know, it just feels like the last few episodes you have been more 'all business' as it were. Of course I think you recorded a few of them back to back so you were in the same mental/energy/motivational 'mode' the whole time. Just 'get it done' sort of thing. But maybe there is something to that. I know I'm somewhat socially awkward and self-conscious about my appearance and voice and so on when I see/hear myself. So knowing a bunch of people were looking at me while I play would un-nerve and unsettle me tremendously. At least you have the advantage, and I mean this in the most agnostic way - trust me, of being a non-mutant physically and quite charismatic overall So I don't think you have to worry about judgment, or fears of judgement on that regard! Although I empathize with your asides about social energy stuff when you mention them. The desire to do dishes cleanup thing struck amazingly close to home. I would always volunteer to do the dishes after family dinners, in order to give me some time to socially 'disengage and emotionally 'recharge' after having to be mentally and emotionally invested in conversation and interaction. Anyway, keep doing what you are doing. Whether your bus survives long term - and in what capacity - is for you to discover. But you are most definitely 'learning the language of Satisfactory' as you put it. Enjoy your future discoveries and building up that factory in whatever form it slowly evolves to. I think that's my favorite part of the game, the moments we stop and look around at what we have done (good, bad, ugly, whatever) and sort of marvel at how it's grown organically piece by piece in to this very impressive monolithic beast of a thing. Most games you work on making your 'character' pretty, bright sparkly armor, shiny sparkle-pony, ridiculously over-compensating weapon, etc. But in this game it's the ridiculously over-compensating Busses and buildings and engineering marvels we come up with. After a while you start to wonder how you managed to piece all this together. It's a great feeling. This sense of - right or wrong - 'I did all of that!' is rewarding. ... At least, until the Power Outage sound crushes your soul and you know it's time to get back to work. lol
