I ask God all the time for Him to place things in my life that will draw me closer to Him. He answered my prayer, I have cancer. I have relied so much on the Lord through this time. I have such a positive outlook because of Him, I do need Him ever hour. I pray to Him often. I know I will beat this cancer with God by my side. Then my husband and my two kids and I can again lift up the Lord yet again for healing my broken body.

Tears are streaming down my face as I listen to you sing this song. It is one of my favorites. I lost both of my twin boys. One at the age of 32 in 2017 and his twin 11 months later at age 33. I must have listened to this song a hundred times as I lay crying filled with unfathomable heartache and loss. I needed my Savior every hour, every minute, and every second of the day! I still do. I love the hymns I learned as a child. Reminds me of sitting in church with my mom, and sometimes also my dad. We sat in the Rear right hand corner of the church ⛪, about 3 rows from the back. Seems back then people had unspoken “assigned” pews in the ‘ol First Lutheran Church!! ⛪️
