7:00 amen!!! I'm so glad you're making this point for us. So many people are on the train of blaming the devil for everything, ignoring the fact that we are fallen. A spiritual battle doesn't mean the devil is responsible for every single bad point in our lives, it means the battle is within ourselves and our own sinful nature. Sure he can purposely set temptation before us, but more often than not I'd say it's our own sinfulness. We don't need help to sin or be tempted. But the Lord is forgiving and merciful and his love endures forever ❤🙏

Anna this may be my favorite video of yours based on how you explained the devastation of sin in an individual’s life. You very aptly instructed those listening to you that we are NOT the victims of our own misery but rather the perpetrators or facilitators of said sin resulting in misery. Thank you for not watering down the gospel by trying to make it more “palatable” to the lost OR those who are deceived by thinking they have eternal security when really they are woefully self-deceived.

@@AnnaDysett I love how you touched on this, often times it’s pastors or ministers that discuss this topic surrounding men while forgetting that women struggle with lust as well. There’s so many forms of struggling with lust for women, It could be sexually intrusive thoughts it could be past trauma it could be sexual oppression in the marriage and fornicating relationships before their conversion. So many ranges and options for women to struggle with the form of lust and I wished that there would be more resources more messages more studies on this topic for women so that it’s not something that’s taboo to talk about and something that women have to struggle with secretly because they’re too embarrassed, or ashamed to seek help to seek spiritual guidance from like-minded sisters in Christ out of fear of being shunned, or looked upon as evil, or even looked at as an unbeliever because that’s something that they haven’t conquered or mastered or the fact that they’re even dealing with it at all being a woman. This is why it’s so important to stay away from sexual sin because it’s one of those sin’s that’s harder to come out of, the Bible talks about it so much which lets you know how important it is to stay away from it, but also showing the consequences of it as well.

Hi Anna and all my beloved sisters in Christ 😊 While a was listening to this beautiful message, it reminded me a study I heard from pastor Vernon McGee. He made an analogy in the book of Joshuah. He explained that the three cities that Israël had to fight represented the three sources of temptation christians have to deal with nowadays. Jericho represented the world, defeated by faith. Aï represented the flesh, defeated by true repentance and the work of the Holy Spirit. The Gabonites represented the devil, defeated by the armor of God. Thank you Anna for this wonderful message, I have a lot to meditate on. If any of you who read this message needs prayer, let me know. Have a great week ❤

Well, I know one thing kind of weird is that as you were talking about this topic in your video I started thinking of cigarettes since I still have a love-hate relationship with them and the camera was panning on your shelf and the first thing that I saw was a book called The Cigar Companion. I naturally did not consider it a sign from the Lord or a bad omen from the devil but I did get a good laugh. On topic, though, is that I usually don't recognize whether I am trying to avoid certain temptations or not and maybe that is a good thing that I do not for it implies that I am aware of trying to make it a self-centered endeavor. Oh, and while I absolutely did not think of a pink elephant wearing a tutu on a balance beam there is a large statue called Pinky the Pink Elephant that wears reading glasses and in one pic has a large martini in front of him while stopping off in Springfield, OH. And while I will not blame you for this turn of events, I will blame Communist GOP members who are not-so-secretly aligned with Vlad and Dems over in Ukraine-Russia.😉

So just do your aware , the Jewish people teach that satin( the adversary) is a good thing. You cannot choose God if you have no choice . That whole God dosnt test us is nonsense. Read Deuteronomy 8:2. He tests us. ❤❤
@AnnaDysett20 сағат бұрын
I agree that God does test us. He just doesn’t tempt us with evil. The temptations that are designed to see us fail are always from the enemy or from ourselves. God allows us to experience them, and they are allowed for our benefit. God doesn’t test us to get us to sin but rather to test and prove our faith 🤗
