Dale, I've been watching your videos ever since you've made videos just like this one. I've found them very relatable, as a 28 year old making skate content you've motivated me to post by making these videos, literally. I was feeling the high of the views from the pandemic as well and predicated that off of my current views which was wrong. I've just been posting whatever im doing lately and its been fun for me. I've been listening to what you and garrett were talking about around this subject matter and feel like were all on the same page. Honestly, I’ve really enjoyed the new content. I always enjoy skating content but I’ve been interested in getting into weight training and boxing for a while now so it’s fit perfectly into my interests tbh.

Hey man, your Daledo popped up in My reco, i wasn't subbed, so that's hype. Yea sometimes the game doesnt work, ive been a hobbiest creator for... 10+ years and only have like 550 subs, and i know empty channels with more subs lol, it just be like that, i work and i play :) Imagine a 1000+ videos of just digging holes lol. if i wanted to start again, it be from a brand new channel at this point.

One thing i think of is, do your thing. If being yourself is making skate videos, then do that. When you say "what is working, what isn't working"... What do you mean? Not enough views, not enough likes, not enough money? KZbin is a platform where you can share your things, but it's also a platform where you can make business. So which way are you trying to go? Upload and do your thing? Or get annoyed that the vid you made didn't get 1 mil views, 200k likes, make you 30k a month? What did you expect? Where is the issue, in your opinion? Having multiple channels might not be a bad idea. Some things will fit for one channel, other things for the other channel. The thing you say about you feeling like an A hole for not doing more on this channel is probably a bad way to think about it, like i get what you're saying. There are 250k subs that are waiting for a video... But then again, there's no schedule, it's not TV, can't just turn in every evening at 7pm and watch the news... you're just doing your thing when it fits ;) Share what you want, feel, can share. But don't expect more than what can be achieved with that. And viewers shouldn't expect more either. I don't :) I just took a break after the whole politics thing a few years ago. Didn't hate, didn't unsub, just took a break :) In general, not just for your channel. I was just tired of peoples personal opinions, because that wasn't what i "signed up for". Hope you get my point :) I think a new channel might be good. You can make other things, things that people didn't "sign up for here" :) Never be sorry for doing what you feel is the right thing for you. You can be sad about stopping 1 thing to do another thing that you feel is better for you, but you can't be sorry for that. I wouldn't say that you did it wrong on this channel. You maybe just didn't do it right the first time :) We all start somewhere and learn, and get better. Just like skating ;) Cheers man, keep your head up, don't let anyone pull you down just because they don't agree with what you're doing or just because they didn't make it. So what feels right, give it a shot ;) Or you will never find out. I'll hop by on the other channel. Sorry for long comment. Ok dale, I'll check out that channel but listen to me first. You make videos and I watch them. I don't care, you (should not) care what they're about. Don't worry so much about feeding the masses what you think, the algorithm thinks, that they think, they might want. Who cares??? Not me, not anyone. This crap is bunk. Views, worthless. Peoples opinions, also worthless. You do you. Make videos you think are awesome, if you want to. Don't make videos at all, if you want to. People are fickle and the algorithm is rigged. I still post stuff from time to time on my channel, nobody watches it, I don't care. I'm happy. I enjoy life. Do what you do and some of us will be around to see it. It's all good. 👍
