Man I split my shin open on a pyramid with a ledge. It was so bad it ripped thru my jeans and skin tissue. Like to the point where I could see my bone 😂 i was also the only person at the park soo that ride home was insannnneeee. Had to call a Uber and crawl to it Rambo style lol. Never been able to skate the same since. It mentally messed with me due to how much I love skateboarding but I couldn't imagine something like that happening to you when your entire life depends on it.

thats wild i had a whole in my heart when. Found it when i was 14 they said i had to have surgery there was really no question also my mom made me feel like it was okay. popped out of that surgery doing cartwheels.

Hate to break it to you but you got bit fake bearings they should both should have a skate rated sticker on both of them and the Swiss and reds don’t have that

back before tech skating reigned and all other skating was “unacceptable”, or what I call- the downfall of skateboarding, that’s what skaters did. You find ways to skate anything. Skateparks tend to be a bit bland so it’s sick to see this gen gettn silly.

ARE YOU FOR REAL DALE? Did you skip science in school. Experiments involve standardisation, such as REPEATING the experiment multiple times and averaging the results to get the answer. You could have used your old bearings as a control and... 🤦‍♂ You know what never mind... I love that you set out to make a genuine comparison (which would have helped me in my decision) and had everything you needed to do the test.. but then just ended up making a video that didnt even cover it subjectively ha ha ha. 4:45 Dan is right back when I was a kid before youtube Channels teaching you the best way to do a trick. I had no idea how flip tricks worked like they looked like magic to me.

Enjoy these types of videos. One thing I've learned working a corporate job is not to put too much value on things you can't control. You can't choose yourself for a promotion anymore than you can choose to make yourself pro. Unfortunately, there ain't much in the world that's based solely on merit, so looking for validation in other people's opinion of your job/skating/etc. is a losing game. Do what you enjoy, be true to yourself, and damn the rest.

I didn't get to skate as a kid/teen. I was that guy who always asked someone to show me how and they would rarely let me skate. Since the pandemic I have been skating as much as possible. I can ollie and ride-on grind, sometimes. I feel great whenever I get on my board. For me there isn't much of a life in terms of meaning or feeling good. I have a job as a data analyst but I don't feel like I ever really lived or maybe I'm just comparing myself to you guys in all the wrong ways
