A Kindle is definitely a good investment in my opinion. I've had Kindles since 2012, and it's been great. Yes, it's not the same as reading a physical book, but it's perfect for taking with you everywhere. When you're going to buy a Kindle, it gives you the option to have no ads for few extra dollars. I have the Kindle Basic 11th Generation, and it's perfect because it's not too big, I can carry it in my purse, and it's one of the most affordable options. And it's always nice to consider that you can have hundreds of books with you wherever you go in your kindle.

I read on Reddit the new kindles have issues, with the screens looking yellow. I don't think the basic one has issues.

I’ve heard that too! I definitely think I’ll stick with a basic one
