I'm pleasantly surprised to see youtube (for once) recommending a small, new, and interesting video to me! sadly I almost exclusively watched english PC players as well, but I still have some recommendations. I'm also going to try to keep thinking of anyone who comes to mind in the future, because I'm sure I'm missing some important names. I'm really surprised to not see SlyFoxHound or any of "The Creatures" on this list. While not the most viewed compared to others, they were definitely one of the first Minecraft "youtuber groups" that would constantly collab together. I think, if anything, they're most memorable for having a VERY strong bond with their fans, it was a very close community. If not the whole group, I think SlyFoxHound deserves a spot for his "Minecraft Daily" series alone. It started as just a fun daily multiplayer survival series, but grew to a spotlight/collab with dozens of other youtubers building up a giant town of houses, and after the series became modded it even got to the point of the 'regulars' basically playing sarcastic characters fighting and opposing each other and even ending with a crazy animated finale (episode 300).

Thank you for the recommendation! I will definitely add SlyFoxHound to the list

Agreed about KZbin actually suggesting a small KZbinr
@Kappa-ze4hj Жыл бұрын
May I recommend gnembon. He used to be a KZbinr, mostly showcasing farm designs and explaining the game mechanics that make them work. Now he is part of the dev team. He is one (of many) people that have really helped pushed technical Minecraft forward.

I might have missed him in the list but Sethbling has to be on it.

Yup I got Seth in there

captain sparkles made minecraft parody songs that went viral multiple times. he also made skyblock popular. correct me if im wrong, but i think captain sparkles made the fisrt skyblock playthrough. Yogscast and their shadow of israphel series was massive for minecraft and popularised it in the early days. The founder of hermitcraft "Generikb" is often overlooked.

If this doesn't have Halkun ( www.youtube.com/@halnicholas ) it will be a crime imo. Maybe I'm in an extreme minority of a minority, but from my perspective, his project to build the Enterprise D in Minecraft, though with very little fanfare and major attention, was pivotal in showing just what kind of mass scale projects could be done. There are larger projects now, but that was one of the earliest.

bro that video is a classic. the fact he was able to do that in 2010 makes it even more insane

I think JackFrostMiner (largest pocket edition focused CC to my knowledge) should be on there, as well as iChun, the creator of some of the most iconic mods throughout the years (hats, morph, portal/gravity gun, etc)

JFM is on there! I'll have to add iChun, thanks for the recommendation!

Make a statue of technoblade in the middle of the hall, I think he was the greatest minecraft influence of all time. R.I.P. legend

If you're looking for non-english speaking people It'd be really cool if you added the swedish KZbinr Stamsite. He was by far the biggest Minecraft channel in Sweden and while he isn't as popular anymore, was still a big part of many peoples childhood. Stamsite is most known for his private SMP 90gQ which he started in october of 2010 and it hasn't changed world since. He has currently made 788 videos on it and is still going. It was kinda like the swedish HermitCraft (but he was the only KZbinr, the rest were his IRL friends). He also popularized the use of 2-lane railway systems with intersections to get around in your world. His build style might not be good by todays standard but back then it was really good. He was really creative and it was just really cool to see a server remain active for so long without really dying. It's kinda hard to explain just how influential he was but it was the kind of thing where every kid dreamed of joining his SMP and playing with him and his friends.

Great Recommendation! These types of youtubers are exactly who I'm looking for, people that made a huge impact but fly under the radar nowadays. Thank you!

glad to see such a project, and the names already in the list. i have a general question there if this has to be only international/english speaking people or if we can suggest more local ones too? i'm not really saying anyone since this should be towards people who made an impact towards the game and comunity too, and as a german the first name what got in my head was Gronkh he introduced the game to a whole of german players and popularized it back when the game was still in alpha/beta, and lots of germans will know the name. sadly he doesn't play minecraft anymore (at least from what i know) but he is one person who got instantly to my mind and it's only a suggestion or question, not a demand
@JackstarHere Жыл бұрын
To answer your question, yes! You can suggest local players as long as you believe they deserve the recognition. Also Gronkh is a great recommendation, even if he doesnt play anymore. It seems he made a huge impact on the community in Germany, so he's definitely going on the list 👍Thank you!

Ilmango, ianxofour

Ilmango is on there (and rightly so) but absolutely second that ianxofour deserves to be on there too for his farm and redstone designs. He is the absolute best at designing farms with incredible efficiency that are also really simple to build.

What about Ashdubh? Though I might have missed it and it might be under another name. He was one of my favourites.

do you plan on making a map file in java?
@JackstarHere Жыл бұрын
Yes, that is something I plan on doing. Unfortunately since the world is created in Xbox it is difficult to export it but I think there are some loopholes through realms and all that. I’ll try to find a way as soon as I can.
