The avenger 2500/3000 is a beast, to bad it looks like a vanford. Here in southern california for inshore/ofshore fishing most anglers use 2500-4000 reel size unless ur tuna fishing

Are the moon phases important for catching fish? Explain how the reel size matches properly with the right rod. (asking for a friend who has a spinning reel on a casting rod)) show the difference between a casting rod and a spinning rod. 1 piece rod vs 2 piece? How do reel sizes match rod sizes (length, weight, action)? Compare and contrast casting rod/reels with spinning rod/reels. When is one preferable to the other?

Ceymar HD is a boss reel. I hate even categorizing it as a "budget" reel, it feels like we're taking away value.

I love my 7' 2pc MLF with a size 30 Pflueger. Two Brothers Ceres has a 2pc 7-0 MLF that isn't terribly expensive - that'd be a sweet pairing with a 30/300/3000 size spinning reel. That's a pretty good all-arounder for finessing Walters, Bobbies, and Pannies. ...Would make a super fun rig if you hook a fat 38" Peter...
