I'm almost 60 and a musician. Jinjer is one of those "once in a generation bands". They have essentially created and carved out their own genre. Jinjer genre! 😁🤘I found them in '18 and first experienced Jinjer live in '19 in a Texas club. Blown away does not come close to what happened to me that night. Happened again in '22. 👍 Napalm emailed me yesterday that my pre-order of their new album "Duel" has shipped. I can't wait for my first listen from start to finish experience.🎶 😍

The aggressive drumming of the intro, the hypersonic tremolo picking in the early section, the groovy sections in the middle, the wild rhythms - I love it all. Lots of great vocal harmonies throughout, with overlapping vocal parts diverging from each other in creative ways. And the more I hear this song, the more I love the outro: I really dig the combination of the doomy instrumentals with Tatiana's emotional, soulful vocals. Just a superb album closer.

Yes, it's not as accessible as Green Serpent (a great song), but Duel is a band of considerable talent at the current height of their skills, artistry and organic flow. I said the same thing about songs like Vortex, but Jinjer continues to sharpen their blades. Tati's lyrics at the very end of the song are some of her best ever. Amy Winehouse vibes yet still Tati all the way. Jinjer doing Jinjer things. It's not easy to both never know what the band will do on any given song and yet sound exactly like Jinjer on every given song. That's a very, very rare trait. Really special band.

1:45 - Yes it is, the emphasis is on the last syllable because of the accent on the "e". 4:43 - It's a 6 string, Roman never used a 7 string guitar.

I have Roman's signature Jackson. I was fortunate enough to be at their VIP experience at the Charlotte show back in October, and took it to be signed by the band. Roman seen it from across the room and got excited calling out I like your guitar asking if he could play it... lol. Vlad asked as well

I'm also really looking forward to this album, the anticipation is real! We got new Opeth and Nightwish last year and now Jinjer. Fantastic! Could you please react to Gojira - The Art of Dying. I've requested it several times and it would really mean a lot to me if you checked it out. Gojira is a deeeeep rabbit hole that is so worth checking out.

i think musicians and long-term listeners (like me) are aware of the band's value. i recently saw on Reddit and checked it out later. i would like you to know. Jinjer's 2021 LP (Wallflowers) and 2019 EP&LP couple(Micro&Macro) were shown in Top Ten AOTY by legendary Mike Portnoy back then. Many magazines did that in their Top 25-50 lists but Portnoy, another thing... So, no wrong to be excited when you hear a new Jinjer song .
