I had a conversation recently with another huge Jinjer fan such as myself about the fact that other than my daughter, there’s nothing in this world that could make me weep or even cry, except Jinjer. They elicit an emotion in me that is just indescribable. From goose bump chills to outright tearing up,,, almost daily for 6+ years now. These 4 human beings are a HUGE part of my life and always will be. Rock on Brother and keep up the great work! 🤘🏼

I discover new things about the songs watching you that I've never noticed before. I suggest you hear the song "Pausing Death" by Jinjer off of Macro. I'm 100% sure you'll love it!!

Great suggestion! I feel like Pausing Death is the hidden gem on that album. All the other songs clamor for your attention. But once I really dove into Pausing Death, it became almost my favorite song. The riff is sick. I LOVE when she growls "But this time backwarrrds!" That growled R is like my favorite sound she makes lol

Just saw them last month in Milwaukee, for my third time seeing them. Just flawless every single time.
@ericpeterson75126 ай бұрын
@@danielbeck9310Hey bro how it be! Yep Milwaukee was epic. Daniel and I were riding the rail, and I've done that (or close) every time I've seen Jinjer. I think the key is to look for the smaller venue headlining shows in between the shows opening for big bands in arenas. Milwaukee was also my third (in a year and a half) and all three have been like that. They seem very often to book parallel tours, both opening and headlining. One tour at a time isn't enough for them! You might have to travel a ways to see a headlining show. It's so worth it. I flew to Milwaukee from Alabama. I drove four hours to my first show in Atlanta. But I'll never forget those concerts. Some of the best shows I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. Priceless!

Tatiana is at the top of her game. I've never heard another singer do what she can do. I've only heard one come close (Howard Jones of Killswitch Engage). She's probably the best frontwoman in metal right now. And she's completely self-taught. 🤟

I was on to Jinjer for 2 years before I clicked on your first reaction to them. Most reactions before yours were generally the same, good to awed reactions. It was you and how you got into the technical side of Vlad, Eugene, and Roman. You helped me understand polyrhythms and dissidence. With that understanding, I began to enjoy this band even more. Thank you. Your reaction to this song had me smiling from the beginning. I believe that this may be a generational band that is just coming into their own.

I'm with you al the way jinjer never bores. I am not a musician and I don,t know anything about making music but you are right at the age of 57 there has never been a band that I could listen to for more than a certain time before you get to know what they are about. And even with a new album you would listen and you would feel yeah that's them all the way. With jinjer even in the old songs I keep discovering things that had not heard before. They are the best band in the world.

Ahhh, nice to have you back to Jinjer! I missed you! I was hoping to be able to give you exciting news of a release date for Jinjer's next studio album. Unfortunately, about a month ago, Tatiana gave an interview in which she said that she can't find the inspiration to write. By contrast, last summer, the band said that they already had about 80% of the music written. So, maybe Tatiana will be breaking out her uzis again. :)) On the bright side, they did release a live album last week.

This is one of those that the studio versions sounds great but live it just has something more. This one especially shows the precision with which the band plays together. I dreamed about being in a band like that. Just totally locked in. I had those moments during my music career from one time to another but Jinjer seems to be that band that way more often than not is one unit.

A well-oiled machine. I know they're human, I have heard them make microscopic mistakes. I think. But they're so fleeting you almost think you're imagining it, and they just rock right on. It's almost reassuring, it affirms that they're not robots. The micro mistakes give the live performances flavor, let you know you're not just listening to the studio album. What an extraordinary band!

There's just something about Jinjer. I dont know what it is. I mean, I know they're ridiculously talented. But, I listen to this band literally just about every day, and I just cant get tired of them. There has never been any other band, no matter how much I love them, that I can say that about. The closest I can say is 80's Metallica, but even that I eventually got tired of. I think it's just a combination of the quality, uniqueness andt diversity of their music. It's so good, but also so different from song to song, it always keeps me engaged.

For me it was Rush. I saw them 36x and could never get enough. One tour I saw eight shows (with Primus opening most). To me, Jinjer lives up to the standard of Rush, and that's something no other band can say.

I understand the Sepultura shows are going to be "co-headlining" shows. That would make it more attractive to me. Even if it's sold out you can likely scalp tickets. If Jinjer is co-headlining it would be worth it. Jinjer has become that "hell or high water" band for me. I'd never gone out of state to see a band before. Never flown to see a band. With Jinjer I do whatever it takes to see them headlining, because I know it's gonna be the best thing since sliced bread.

Great reaction as always mate! Cheers from Alabama. I really dig your playing on your original songs! I'm subbed to your other channel, and I might just have to go do your piano lessons too. I'm pretty nooby on keyboards, so I'll probably have to work up to it. Your analyses are some of the most knowledgeable and erudite on KZbin. Yes, I said erudite. Those who know, know. Jinjer is a very special band. Everything they do is done with ultimate passion, dedication and love. It radiates out of every moment. I hope you check out the three videos from the new Live In Los Angeles. In particular Call Me a Symbol and Home Back are astounding. The sound is so clean, the performance is so flawless, the energy is so good. It showcases a supreme live band at the top of their game. My copy of the DVD/blu-ray pack hasn't arrived yet. But if the rest is as good as the three songs they've released on video to date, it could be one of the best live DVDs I've ever seen. I've been streaming the album on Bandcamp and it's scarily perfect. Sounds like they went in to re-record the albums, and happened to put on a killer metal show while they were doing it. The precision is uncanny.

JINGER is a vivid example of the musical talent of Ukrainians. Even in such an unconventional musical style for the Slavs, they were able to find their way and become icons for many in the whole world. Unfortunately, most people in the world are not familiar with Ukrainian performers, since the vast majority of them use the Ukrainian language. And only those of them who sing in a foreign English language (and there are very few of them) can be heard outside of Ukraine.
