I can write something down on cue. I always have my mind running 90mph, so all I have to do to start writing is put down what I'm thinking about at the moment, and then I'm off. Now, it might not always be coherent and make sense to someone outside of my head, but I can definitely put down my thoughts on paper, anytime anywhere. Sometimes when I'm at work, I'll stop typing on the PC and hammer out three or four pages on to a dictation pad of something that is on my mind.

And the critical ingredient to flow is . . . Making a list beforehand, dealing with only one task at a time, and on completion of one task move seamlessly onto the next?

, If you start writing those excuses down on a paper with a nice fountaim pen, most of your excuses will vanish
