Depression Major is HELL, and I can tell you it is a DARK place but with the Lord's help I realize He is helping me, and angels guide me for the best. THe holy spirit be upon us all.

Read His Word. Like start reading Psalms, bible based books, books with God's promises in them like at the ones they sell at the dollar store and start praying scriptures out loud and thinking about thinking. God's word is living, alive and active. When you put it in you, over time, you will feel God's life from it. You will feel that you are slowly changing. Then continue to do this, more and more. Press into God and He will press into you. 🤍🤍🤍

Thank you CBN for this message. I've struggled with depression, & other mental health issues, along with alcohol ones since late teens/ early 20's. Took me 10 years before God healed me of desire to drink alcohol issues. Also, there is a song by Matthew West titled "Truth Be Told". Another one by him is titled, "The God Who Stays". Both songs really comforted me when I was feeling depressed.. God bless you sister in Christ.

No such thing as a mental institution in the United States any more. They are psychiatric hospitals and they do a lot of good if you really need the mental health help. Many good and dedicated Christian physicians and nurses work there, pray with their patients and families daily, and pray after going home after their long shifts. We are dedicated to our patients and coworkers, but they are not institutions, but actual hospitals. So glad she is doing well now.
