When you've got the tree harvester head lined up, move it down as close to the ground with the green line still around the tree and you'll leave shorter stumps

I dont think the price was incorrect for the pellets, i think the processing speed was the issue. IRL those wood burning pellets can be $$$ per bag. But 50 pallets over night seemed like a lot. 5 to 10 would seem more sccurate, bc they are soaked and pressed😅😅 just my opinion, though😁😁

I log this map too, I use the same tree harvester but use the telehandler and 40' flatbed in log configuration, it sits lower and you can load it with a skidsteer also. Plus you can get a hitch and put multiple trailers together. Works really slick

When I'm using the tree harvesters like that, I turn the cab slightly one way so the head is clear of the machine to the left or right, then twice the head so it faces straight ahead, then when cut a tree just back up to your tree pile and run the tree thru, then all I do is raise the boom up as the pile gets larger

You can use the blade on the winch to push logs around, and use the forks under the logs with the front loader, that might be easier for you.

Those pallets of pellets need the timing tweaked, they don't autoload well at all

There are some autoloading logging trailers you can try if you want to remove manually loading entirely

Try the big bag handler from the csz pack with straps for loading logs. I know it’s not realistic but it really helps.

Big bag handler on a wheel loader is the move, it snaps straps to the logs on the ground. Fastest way I’ve found to get them loaded

Wood pellets go for around 20 to 25 a bag some times more depending on the type of wood

@@robertdrake9991 I was thinking more wholesale cost… noticed I didn’t mention that while edited. So I think that still lines up. Buy them in bulk at $15 and resell at $20-25 depending on demand and time year etc. either way, $6K a pallet is insane, even in easy economy.

Press shift B in the Ponsse tree harvester to change your driving direction. It's a much better harvester then the Rotten.

@@Brooksandwhich you should be able to. Play around with the number until you get it where you want. I found removing the zip file and just keeping the extracted folder works fine for me but if you want to rezip the folder to be safe you can.
