Recently I wanted to change my rubber mat with suction cups; the silicone had turned yellow over time. As always, I went to Wildberries to see the new products, the selection is huge. I chose a new product, a beautiful modern design, and read in the description that there is nothing better in the world. Rubber, microfiber, nappa leather, memory polyester and many other impressive words. We need to take it urgently. I could barely wait for delivery.
But when I received it, it immediately became clear that it would not live long, it was light as a feather, loose, dirt stuck to nowhere, the edges became frayed after the first week. I turned it over, wrong side first, and it got better.
Now it’s lying in the garage in front of the door, seemingly in use.
And each of us has things to throw away. Something has gone out of fashion, become small or big, tired, worn out. These are T-shirts, T-shirts, sweaters, bed linen, socks, jeans, the list is quite impressive. Towels also fall into this category.
A good housewife will always find a use for old things. For example, sewing a new rug for the bathroom. This way it will be reliable and durable.
Here's what I did:
1) I cut out two pieces for rugs from a large towel - one larger for the bathroom, the other smaller for the toilet.
2) For decoration, I cut out hearts from fabric and sewed them to the towel with a zigzag.
3) I also cut out parts for the inner sides and padding polyester for the layer.
4) I pinned all three while standing and quilted them.
5) The bathroom floors are mostly ceramic tiles and this is a slippery material. To do this, there will be a rubber backing (napkin from Fix Price) on the reverse side of the mat.
6) I cut strips of fabric diagonally, 5 cm wide, for edging.
7) I attached it from the wrong side and stitched it, then turned it right side out.
Ready.
Terry cloth and cotton perfectly absorb moisture, which quickly evaporates through the cells of the rubber.
And very important - such a rug does not slip on the floor.

Неужели нельзя придумать другое название ррлика? Например коврики для ванной комнаты. Надоело читать "подглядела, подсмотрела". А ванная комната шикарная. Коврики для нее маловаты и не смотрятся .

Сама люблю шить, но в данном ролике совершенно не понравились цвета.Они не сочетаются. Полотенце перевели на коврики, которых в продаже огромное количество.

В турецком отеле такого точно нет.Вы там были? Уверяю вас- такой хранить там нет.Там все белоснежное,даже коврики в ванной

Всё хорошо, только зачем лепить сердечки куда попало. Прямо помещались. А потом сердце болит , указываешь свою болезнь. Любовь --- чувство сокровенное, его выпячивать нет смысла.
