I decided (poorly) to do a nuzlocke of Alpharad's rom hack, "Pokemon Emerald: Too Many Types" Also this is being uploaded on my birthday so you legally have to subscribe.

i can send you the type chart but i do believe it can be 16x with a specific move (am checking rn, gimme a sec)

@@Devi_Yun I think you need the pokemon to be "type" type for that (it multiples the weaknesses and strengths of the other types by 2), otherwise x2×2×2 is still x8, but yes you can get x16 and it can confuse the algorithm so hard it loops back around to making moves to 1 point of damage, lmao.

well the reason its 16 times is because baby is 4x weak to right, so 4x2x2 = 16

@@Devi_Yun Oh I forgot baby has 4x. That's just weird lol. Feels like they made that type just for laughs and to set up the horrifying "uno reverse baby" encounter. Honestly that one's just not fair.

My guy, I need some clarification, please. I'm stuck at the 1:20 mark because I'm confused by your statement that you were "flabbergasted" that you could get 6 Pokemon before the first gym. In what game is that not the norm?

the game ive played the most by 100x is black and white so my immediate response is that one, i havent played the newest 2 until after this video came out. i never played gen 4 or b2w2. beyond that it was an observation i never made whilst playing crystal, x and y and oras. im very new to nuzlocking in general lol

@@Devi_Yun Ah, well it's been a while since I've played a Gen 5 game, and I can't go back to Unova until I finish my current Emerald playthrough and then do an entire Gen 4 playthrough. So right now I'll have to take your word for it lol

@@Devi_Yun Oh right, you're talking about a nuzlocke. Sorry, I'm dumb. I was just thinking about the total number Pokemon available to catch before the first gym. I wasn't thinking about the one Pokemon per route limit

OHHHHHHHHHH yea no i hadnt even thought about that while scripting, tho this did make me look it up and did u know you can catch 14 different pokemon before getting to rustboro?
