I was thinking this while watching the video, that some folks would find this immensely helpful. I am sure you know about the channels where people buy Dollar Store food on a tight budget and demonstrate ideas for cooking those foods to make interesting and nourishing dishes. I feel very blessed to be able to eat very good food but I have had my days of want and I know in America I can be there again in a heartbeat. Take care!

Don’t generally shop at dollar tree for food. I’m a trashy food connoisseur but you need to exercise if you live this way. I’m also dirt poor and extremely happy. This gave me options when my grands visit. I have so many that they have to come in waves. We cook some homemade and I take them to shop for what they can’t get at home. Not all my daughters shop or allow their kids to eat trashy food unless they come to grandma’s and get it. We have all the snacks when they come. This was a good one! Love you Timmy I’m a fan from way back. We need to get you cooking in that beautiful kitchen. 🙏🏼❤️

Hi Timmy! Been watching you since your DIY collab days❤ You don't need to be so suspicious of your air fryer, especially if it's not a cheapo one. Air fryers are essentially just very condensed convection ovens, which circulate air to allow for more even browning. As long as you aren't fully crowding the fryer, you can use the exact same instructions as the convection oven settings. If it doesn't give convection settings, drop the temp a bit. I'm not sure what it is in F° but in C its a 20° drop. Air fry with confidence my Queen!!❤❤❤

Some* stuff, sometimes the food is way beyond expired, as some foods are a 1 time purchase for them, and their snacks, they have a odd way of ordering things, with deals and what not. Always look at the xpire date if there is any. But that one is way different from mine lol.. our store is the poor version.. They are updating theirs with more branded things.

The sausage and gravy pot pie are my favorite. I love biscuits and gravy but don't get to have it very often (usually like once a year), so those little pies really help fill the craving. My Walmart has them on sale quite often for $1.

I respect that you stuck with the one dollar ($1.25) item. One of the absolute bargains that I always get at dollar tree are Toast'em Pop Ups. They're basically Pop Tarts from General Mills and Post Pop Tarts stole their idea I had a better name and marketing, but they're about a third of the price of pop tarts and even better I believe.

I have to say that is the first Dollar Tree I have ever seen with self-checkout. We have a Dollar Tree/Family Dollar Market here and it has a very large selection of foods. I don’t buy many groceries there other than snacks, but I know people who do a lot of grocery shopping there. Have you thought of doing a bakery challenge? I was eating a donut from my local tienda/bakery, Juquilita’s, while watching and thought it might be fun for you to review a bakery (or two). Some have lunch/dinner type items like kolaches, cheesy bread twists, and meat and cheese stuffed rolls. Couldn’t hurt to check some local places out. I bet there are some awesome bakeries in your area. Looking forward to more great content in the new year! 🩷
