That’s what happens when politicians/corporations shipped the wealth of America, those high paying manufacturing jobs, to China for the last 23 years. American families are broke. It’s shameful. Love this video Timmy!!! Although being the Hilton, I was expecting it to be waaay nicer and fancier. I would be really upset if I had to pay all those charges and fees and parking for that room...with a view of the parking lot. I was so happy when you said the room seemed to be an $80.00 a night, I thought so too (before you said it)!! Room service across the board has changed wildly since COVID. Some hotels still don’t have it. Many kept with the “take out style” like you got here. It’s just not the same! We want the “exper-iANCE!” The only good hotel room service I’ve had since COVID is at very high end hotels like JW Marriott, ritz etc.

You're always so sweet and polite. You deserve all the best. As for that chocolate cake, that was a flourless cake/torte. Its supposed to be extremely thick, dense, and fudgy. As a chocoholic, I have never found anything too chocolaty (except the Ghirardelli drinking chocolate) so I LOVE flourless cakes. I don't think they told or described properly to you what it was.

This is the best series of 2023 and you are such a pro at reviews! That chocolate cake really WAS a crumb, it looks like the sad sizes of the cheesecake factory slices where they don't even fit in their cheesecake slot anymore they just flop over in the box 🤣 The food looked delicious but packaged like take out, that's so weird. I would love to see how pet friendly they are and what pet amenities they have, I have a dog 😊 I hope you can keep doing these, I know it's expensive so I had to show some support 💙💙💙

I loudly gasped when Timmy pulls out the minute maid orange juice! it's the Hilton! they don't have fresh orange juice! and they are charging 4 dollars plus for it! and the menu is very small and no varieties. Fun fact! The Hilton family/corporation does not physically own any of its hotels any longer and have no direct control over them - they just franchise the name and system... They sold the hotel chain in 2009, so that is probably why the hotels have gone downhill so much! Now anyone can "franchise" a Hilton hotel and run it any way they want to. You're paying for the name but not the original quality. The only way Paris or any of the family would be making money off the hotels was if they held stock in the company, but I remember Paris saying her grandfather donated most of his wealth to charity and didn't leave it all to them.

For the price you paid for the room and the food this was very disappointing, I am glad the shower and bed were acceptable. I can't believe room service was a brown paper bag and a paper take out container. Shame on them. I like Wyndham hotels and the Marriott. That hotel room should have been 80 dollars a night IMO. Please, please stay at the Guitar, and eat at a restaurant there. Do a buffet, room service, and a sit down, menu in your hand, cloth napkin, restaurant. I want to go there. Thank you for taking one for the team at the Hilton in Lauderdale, I do follow your recommendations, and you are on the mark for me. Maybe compare the Guitar to the one in Tampa. I loved the Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa, so that will be in your win column. And while in Tampa, get a Cuban sandwich. Cubans had settled in Tampa long before fleeing to Miami.

Honestly, I think they have an agreement with some local restaurant to make and deliver the food and they are just upcharging from what the restaurant charges. None of that food looks like it was actually prepared at the hotel.

Oh timmy I feel for you. I stayed in a hilton in San Francisco when I was on a course with work about 23 years ago, I loved the room service and it came with the metal domed plate covers. The room was very much like yours and of course the noisy air con. Massive bed, slept with pillows to make it feel smaller. I'm from England so v different here. However I loved the trip so much will never forget it for the rest of my life. I love your take on the English accent😃😃😃
