Seasonings should not count into the cost. Everyone should have basic seasonings.

agree and wish this was top comment. seasonings like salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder can least weeks if not MONTHS at a time and be used in dozens of dishes. Enough kosher salt to last many many months will cost like $2-$4. enough black pepper to last a few months? another few bucks. garlic powder and onion powder can be like $3-5 and again, last for months.

@@siamhossain1479 Don't forget about chicken livers, gizzards and chicken feet. You could use hot dogs or a small amount of deli meat. You could get a small pack of neckbones,dollar tree rice and BBQ sauce and bam, you have a meal! I have no doubt Quang, I have faith in you. You are amazing!

Quang! Can you cook a meal for a very sick person with a flu, cold, or fever? Wanna see if you know any asian remedies to help cure sickness but still have tasty dishes. This can be very educational for people who rely on medicine all the time and eat whatever and wonders why the tylenol ain't working😂. Like for Quang to see!

Sometimes it depends on what you are eating. I know people who get sick and eat frozen food and not fresh food and they wonder why they ain't getting better lol. Relying on tylenol or OTC medication isn't the only thing. When sick, eating healthy is the best way to get better.

More of Chuck Moua eat some chicken soup wit chicken feet added. I had it when I got sick in Mexico and I was healed overnight. Very good too I won’t eat chicken soup without the feet now 😂 I don’t actually eat them tho I just like the flavor it adds

Yes! I love video's like this! Its me my husband and our 6 kids. So im always trying to cook on a budget. We bought an extra freezer so we could stock up on meat when its on sale to help cut the cost. I made shrimp tacos for everyone with pinto beans and it was less than 12$

I think u did good but im pretty sure i couldve done better.... .99 pack of pasta 1.79 pasta sauce Pack of chciken thighs 3.00 .25 ramen noodles ×4 1.00 butter 2 carrot .50 Bean sprouts .45 Chicken bullion 1.25 2 potatoes 1.00 -Pasta with red sauce and chicken -Ramen with bean sprouts, carrot and chciken stir fry with butter bullion salt and pepper - Oven roasted potatoes with baked chciken - Ramen soup with bean sprouts and a little bit of pasta sauce to make it like a tomato ramen soup. I work at a grocery store in toronto canada and i know i can get all of those items on my list for those prices or maybe even cheaper with no employee discounts.

Easy filet ur chicken breast yams and broccoli rice easy $15 to make more food who said you can not visit your local food bank and show people how to really make and stretch a good feast nutrional with the help of your local food bank so ur not starving out there people. Next I want to see you do the single appliance challenge. You pick a single appliance, and you cook a three course meal using only that appliance. No pots or pans. Utensils are okay. I've seen a lot of people use a coffee pot.

my mom made a Similar meal spam(cubed) elbow noodles. And tomato paste. Very delicious but my favorite was white rice then she'd make some corned. Beef canned n shed cook that with tomato paste corn n Homemade French fries all mixed up served over the white rice !!! Deliciousss

I love lentils omg.. My mom makes a lentil soup where you saute one diced roma tomato, some diced hotdog(some diced bacon if we had money for it), an onion, a jalapeno and some chicken bouillon and dump it into the boiled lentils and that was absolute heaven to my family when we were younger. Even now I love making it because it's cheap and so filling. You made me remember some struggle meals my mom made us as kids and I thank you for it.

Funny thing is that I remember 3 dishes that my mom used to make. 1.) Homemade Clam Chowder (from scratch) Homemade Spaghetti (from scratch) and Her amazing Homemade Split Pea and Ham Soup (also from scratch). AMAZING. Most 9f the time she would cook it on top of our wood stove. God, I miss her so much. RIP Mom.

My family was really poor when I growing up but my all time favourite childhood meal was basically a bowl of rice covered with water and any cheap cuts of meat or fish seasoned with only salt and then pan fried. It was cheap, easy and fast to make. I still eat it till this day.
